I know this stuff might be easier to find when we're closer to the launch date of that game, June 12th, but anything anyone could help with would be awesome! Haha I didnt even think to check wikipedia, thanks a ton. So the character designer is NekoshowguN and doing a bit of searching her art is badass. Now I really hope this game gets an artbook. The official Japan site even has some concept art of characters.

Spitting out every layer, plus every combination of every layer (I'm aware of how processor/memory intensive a process like this would be, nevertheless it would be useful if I had it).

I know how Adobe's batch system works, but it's not really a generalizable process, which is what I need.

XNview has a function to save every layer of an image separately, but I don't think there's anything that allows you to have each different combination. Also, for most if the stuff we work with, a function like that would make any hardware explode. Litteraly.

How can you make a program to build different verisons of that specific art if you don't tell him which layers to merge ;). Whitout such setup the program can go to 1xxxx if not to a infinite[joke] different PNG, depends on how many layers the art has, like 10 for example.

I'm aware, it'd create 10^10 of images, and that would be obscene and cumbersome. I would try to merge down layers to create smaller groups of layered images, but I feel like i need something that can automatically process the layers once I've decided which ones to merge because of sheer volume (I'm working with over 100,000 images on a daily basis now, it's getting difficult to do stuff by hand, there's also naming and tagging to be concerned with).
