Before the NeoGAF avatar revolution, it was a real gif. However, WRC 1 and 2 are good games for rally fans, I hope that episode number 3 will be a better game. If I remember correctly, WRC 1 was out together GT5 and WRC 2 together Forza 4. WRC 3 in october 2012 will be "alone" for the first time. PS Vita version makes me extremely curious. |

I would love a good WRC game, but I think Milestone is not a great developer... They should license the Dirt engine from codemasters and build a good WRC game around it.
That I would pay full price for day 1. Dirt is shitty game on a great engine, WRC is a good game on a shitty engine... |

Well it seems the series will finally look decent. I wonder if the gameplay will be too. I really want these guys to succeed, I know they're pretty small, but their 2 previous entries have been sub par in sound, graphics and gameplay... I hope they nail everything this time around (so I can give them my moneyz, moneyz)

As mediocre as WRC 2 was, and despite the issues it had, I still think it was a ton of fun. Way more fun and a more solid rally experience than Dirt 3 was IMO. I'm hoping this one is region free as well. I'll take WRC 3 over nothing until Dirt 4 in two years. |

Why can't we have Evolution studio,Dice,PD (lol) or Turn 10 or anyone actually decent getting the license? |

Out of interest, how well did Sonys WRC titles sell on the PS2? I remember every time I tuned into the WRC highlights on telly back in the PS2 days they would do a fly by/drive by of the course from the game to give you the gist of it. Were the tracks really official or just very similar with matching terrain? Obviously I never played them, hence asking.

Will be interesting to see how this turns out relative to the next proper Dirt/Codemasters rally game.
Also I hope this gets a US release so I don't have to import it again, what a pain in the ass that was. WRC 2 was pretty good but was definitely lacking in the presentation/graphics department. |

Milestone has the WRC license until 2013. With all the hints I've been hearing, I fully expect a Codemasters rally game for 2013. With all the gymkhana nonsense out of the way with this years Dirt Showdown it could be an amazing game. |

How different is WRC1 from WRC2? From what I saw of 1 it didnt really appeal to me. 3 looks like it can be better though.
Dirt 3 was awful though, where you can gold an event without having to use the brakes is just bad physics. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qp_iWLxKgOk |

All the games were million+ sellers. I don't have the exact figures but it was mention on Evolution's old website.

WRC2 was EU only on xbox, but also region free. I pray this one is region free too. I had a blast with 2 after importing it. I really enjoy the handling, and the lighting on some of the stages. |

I have the past two games on 360. Terrible graphics (cardboard people and trees), handling and physics a little off, but the only true point-to-point rally game available. I will buy it again. Hell, I may double dip for the vita version, I am quite curious about it. |

Yeh, it won`t be out in US. Glad Vita is region-free, and I have a PAL 360 ready just in case. |

If it is indeed a 'new' engine then I do have some hope for it. If it's just the same engine as previous but updated, then please count me out.
I really really wanted to like WRC1 (and thought I would) and WRC2, but couldn't get past anything, crappy/disgusting graphics, dire handling and the tracks we're a millions miles wide! The trailer gives a good impression, but as always, I'll wait for the demo. |

WRC1 - good game, looked rather aged and was super sub HD, car handling felt alright.
WRC2 - still playing it, big improvement to the first game in visual tweaks and better car handing especially the FWD classes. Recycled rally stages was a big downer but they also added in some new ones. I will most likely buy WRC3 if they can make a good improvement again over the second game. |

Many elements will be changed/modified. Specially in physics. The test was done on PS3 with Logitech G27, but with automatic gears and the impossibility to access the driving help. Journalist says that snow/dirt gameplay was fine, but there was too much grip on asphalt. |
