They always looked good to me, but in video they look very pretty.

Things I noticed:

- The hot-air balloon looks like a part of the main quest, unlike EO3's seafaring.
- UI for Shop and Skill Tree is much better now
- That Stalker FOE still looks goddamn scary.
- Party set is good for quickly swapping adventurers/farmers

Gameplay looks as good as ever. Too bad there's no Hard mode. Maybe unlocked on a New Game+ or something.

Normal mode is being made harder, which is the reason they're adding a casual mode in the first place.

So I have a couple questions. I've always wanted to play an EO game but never gotten around to it, which is the best of the 3 on the DS? Also, is there any connecting story between the games or are they pretty standalone?

3>1>2, IMO.

I can't even remember the plot to any of them, to be honest. These aren't story-driven games.
