Today I nearly forgot to congratulate my mom on her birthday. Don't know why I'm so bad at remembering my family's and friends b-days.
Luckily she knows that I'm busy this weekend and I've already said that I'm visiting her next week, so it turned out alright with just a call in the evening.

My story isn't a big deal at all so I wonder GAF; do you have any nasty stories about forgetting birthdays to peolpe near and dear to you?

Birthdays aren't a big deal to me, at all. Last year, I didn't even think about my birthday until someone said "happy birthday".
That said, I usually don't forget my immediate family's birthdays, since it means more to them.

Coincidentally enough my mom's birthday was on Wed and I totally forgot as well. I felt awful. In my defense I rarely know what day it is. Luckily I was reminded in time to get over to see her that evening. She still gave me the guilt though.

Im horrible remembering birthdays, anniversaries etc. My lady usually keeps track of them. I ripped off Reds idea from that 70s show and have a small stash of gift in case I forget her birthday.
