![]() I still remember how they claimed that thing was in-game and that players would actually move like that. I was fooled once, doubt I'll be fooled twice by the same nonsense. I'll try the demo though, maybe the game is actually fun instead of a scriptfest this year. |

Typical BS video from them.
Info sounds good, but if all those improvements are just slapped on top of PES2012's terrible gameplay then no thanks. There needs to be major reworking across the entire thing. Sigh. And I too would pay ANYTHING for an up to date PES6HD on xbla :( I just don't get it. I must be playing a different FIFA than everyone else in the world.

While it's true that a couple players like Adriano were indeed overpowered, the general gameplay system itself was 10X better than anything we got today! So i'd rather play a glorious game of soccer and simply pick any teams other than Inter Milan than play current PES versions... |

I think Adriano was actually better in PES 5.

Did you see Konamis silent hill HD release? Yeah... I doubt we want to see PES6 on PS360, only Konami can actually fuck up old games and make them perform worse on new systems.

Since EA has Messi, it's CR7 vs Messi. |

I think some of you guys actually have to go back and play the old PES games. I did this and it was eye opening. The PES criticism is way overdone, though the series is certainly stale. Didn't really play it this gen. One of the reasons though is that it's just so god damn time consuming if you do it serious.

Konami and EA need a love child, or at least some competition.
So sick of the same repackaged crap. They haven't even bothered with most of the player models in FIFA, half the Premier League is full faceless random's, nice job with that licence EA. Konami at least offer the option of editing on all formats unlike the FIFA series which are locked. Pro Evo lacks the presentation that FIFA does, from a broadcast/commentary standpoint. Gameplay wise it's fairly close, FIFA probably still has the edge thanks to Konami's inability to program the goalkeeper A.I or physics engine. PES is still way too glitchy, but you never know. Maybe this year they will surpries us!lol |

CVG:
As usual, Konami's presenting its PES 2013 additions in the form of three pillars: Full Control (PES FC), Advanced AI and Player ID. These were mentioned earlier this year in the form of a press release, and we have to admit we weren't exactly blown away. How wrong we were. Eurogamer: "Keepers, a constant bugbear of the series, are once again improved, boasting new animations, better responsiveness and generally less fist-gnawing stupidity. Countering the close control is response defending, an amendment that sees some of the defensive improvements of last year's FIFA make their way to PES. Holding down the tackle button harries an opposition player, holding up the play - while double-tapping the same button sends the player lunging in pursuit of the ball, a challenge that won't necessarily work out, that outcome made more likely by the more advanced close control that's afforded to attacking players." Multiplayer.it (Italian): Talking about Player ID: "Ronaldo, Messi, Kaka, Robben, Iniesta, Neymar, Xavi, Ribery, Puyol and Terry, even with his famous diving header, were shown in sequence in real movies and gaming. We do not yet know the total number of players who will enjoy this "treatment" but we hope that it's as many as possible."

Seabass is working on another PES product and it's not the next-generation PES. By the way, Konami want to use the Fox Engine for the next-gen PES. |

Even though I love the guy for what he created in the past, no Seabass involvement this time is something to be excited about. He has lost his touch in recent times, and different project leads could be just what PES needed to finally be again what the fans want it to be.

New trailer:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...&v=BaR0M9rS-yQ The new tackling looks pretty good, as well as the (manual) shooting. I've also got to say those are the best player models I've seen in a sports game. Its not just the faces, but the bodies look fully proportioned. Really evident when Ronaldo his shooting. |
