Lost Planet: Extreme Condition was a complete failure. (LP2 sucks balls too),Original game's premise (surviving and fighting aliens in extreme weather event) was a fucking great idea, however the game failed completely in delivering that and it ruined it with the borong enemies and boring levels (which was not balanced well with t-energy limits) and shitty story and characters.
Sadly I doubt Spark can do the original premise justice because they are horrible devs. |

The fact that the FPS market demands homogeneity doesn't take away from the fact that Lost Planet 1 and 2 were fantastically designed games. Passing it off to a shithouse developer who aspires to make the third game into a ripoff of a ripoff of an older Capcom game is just insulting. |

![]() Trying too hard? Anyways, y'all all seem to dislike the character design, when I think what's really more worrisome is the enemy design. Not nearly as good so far as the enemies from Extreme Condition and 2. Character design is pretty much just visuals where as enemy design can change the entire gameplay. I hope some of the past akrid return. |

My thoughts exactly.
The art direction, character designs and especially mech designs don't look like they're from the same universe. I really liked LP1 and even 2, but have no hope for this one. They're departing too far from formula was well with first person mech nonsense and open world+sidequests. Just what we need, more genre blurring and industry homogenization from shoving shit into games because it's popular. |

You know, I really dont hate his face, I like the more stylized cartoon style, and he is not a bald space marine, something that I appreciate.
His face is derpy like in some of the screens, but in others it looks good. It would be bgetter if they put him a helmet when he is outside though. Hahahahahahahahaha oh god... |
