Was expecting mostly discussion on the november date and how crazy that is but instead got a bunch of euros trying to impose their "correct" way of doing things. Anyway as stated that's insane. It will get crushed by COD and Halo. Even Assassin's Creed had the sense to bail the hell out of november.

I would love it if that's what Sony were doing with the TLoU, but considering this is the next game from 'the critically and commercially acclaimed developers of Uncharted', I don't know why they'd keep quiet about it.

I think it's too do the the genre, if they kept talking about for the last 15 months we would know way too much about the game.

So long as they do a good job with trailers, interviews and the like at the end of August through September they'll sell as well as they would have other wise.

Clearly The Last of Us has to make it before Black Friday, and it probably should come before Black Ops II and Halo 4, the two biggies. I suspect it will be coming out in the very beginning of November or late October, like Uncharted 3 did.

There is no way they will delay that. They would then have...Sly Cooper 4 and Battle Royale (or whatever it's called), and LBP Racing. And that will not do it. God of War IV would be the best but it clearly is not coming this fall, and I doubt a Gran Turismo will be either, or the next Uncharted or Killzone. There seems to be a lot of hype surrounding The Last of Us (and rightfully so!). This has to make it.

I searched BioShock: Infinite on the site (which we know releases on Oct. 16) and the date reads "16/10/12", so it's definitely Sept. 11; there's no more need to debate that.

I believe most of America does Day/Month/Year, so I don't see how it's an "Euro" only thing.

I highly doubt it will be comparable to RE6, but other than that, I agree. GOWA is spring of next year.

I'm not sure it needs to be released before RE6, they sound different enough that they might have different audiences. And honestly even if they don't, I would think a real fan of the TPS/Survival genre would want both.

I'm saying BR will sell decently regardless when it releases. It might not (probably wont!) set the market on fire, but Sony will turn a profit on it.
