So long as they do a good job with trailers, interviews and the like at the end of August through September they'll sell as well as they would have other wise. I think this whole thing will do very well for Sony. |

What ages are you talking about?
The game was announced in December and the last update was early last month. |

Clearly The Last of Us has to make it before Black Friday, and it probably should come before Black Ops II and Halo 4, the two biggies. I suspect it will be coming out in the very beginning of November or late October, like Uncharted 3 did.
There is no way they will delay that. They would then have...Sly Cooper 4 and Battle Royale (or whatever it's called), and LBP Racing. And that will not do it. God of War IV would be the best but it clearly is not coming this fall, and I doubt a Gran Turismo will be either, or the next Uncharted or Killzone. There seems to be a lot of hype surrounding The Last of Us (and rightfully so!). This has to make it. |

And 2) Again, seems irrelevant to dates written numerically. It's the 11th of the 9th of the 2012th, not the 9th of the 11th of the 2012th. |

Oh and when I say America, I mean the whole continent (North and South) |

It doesn't, his example is in American not English. "The 29th of April" is how it's said in English.

I believe they said they were indeed shooting for 2012, but that it might not hit until early 2012.

I was making a snide remark that American English wasn't actually English but it's own language. Obviously a joke but it seems to have riled up burntpork (then again everything riles up burntpork).

better get released before RE6, because it will probably be compared to that game.
And as a new IP September is the last month to go, after that you risk to be killed by bigger titles. I would like it to be early September. Speaking of SOny all their games for fall better be released earlier as well. LBPK, Sly4. GOWA is probably next year. |

Same. Though, if it does indeed come out this year, then I hope they are satisfied with releasing it in September and don't rush it. If they feel they aren't going to be fully done by September, then they should definitely release it next year. I'm willing to wait for ND to get this game right.

Surprised (but pleasantly so) if it comes out this year. GTA V is also being rumoured to be out this year (can't believe it either). That will be a hell of a holiday season.
All Stars Battle Royale will sell not more than a dozen copies in that crowded market. |

September's got Borderlands 2. I'm pretty sure that will be the highest 4 player selling game this year. Maybe even over Diablo.

I'm saying BR will sell decently regardless when it releases. It might not (probably wont!) set the market on fire, but Sony will turn a profit on it. |
