It is at this point that you need to realize that your expectations are way too high. Sound like our good friend Expendable, who will at least once a year express the promise of some upcoming release being the next 2001.

Who are you and what have you done with Sculli?
Then I guess I have a choice to make. Digital IMAX with better 3D but tiny-shouldnt-be-called-IMAX screen, or the lesser 3D and large IN YOUR FACE giant screen. Will probably go with the latter. |

Keep in mind that it wasn't filmed in IMAX. Go the digital.

ughhhh why do you have to use such logic? Digital has inferior audio too doesnt it? I have discounted tickets I can use for the real IMAX. Though I guess I can save that for TDKR.
I just feel cheated at Digital IMAXs. The screen is so small... |

Digital IMAX has amazing audio. Definitely see TDKR in proper Imax. 3D on a film a pair of film projectors sucks compared to digital projector. I'm pissed off that my LieMAX isn't showing Prometheus, so I have to see it at another normal cinema that I know projects in digital.

also, WATCH THE TRAILER PEOPLE. It's awesome. I don't think it will ruin my moviegoing experience one bit. |

Man, that trailer basically spoiled the entire big twist in the movie for me. I feel terrible. I already suspected it previous, but they had to basically spell it out. I'm not even going to bother using spoiler tags because it's so obvious to everyone. The entire trip to this alien world is an invitation engineered by Ridley Scott, the director of Alien, Blade Runner and Gladiator. He planted the star map into cave paintings all over the world since the 80s, and it has taken 30 years for anyone to find them and to actually fund the expedition to go encounter his brand new sci-fi experience.
Fuck. I wish I didn't watch the trailer! They RUINED it!!!! |

Use spoiler tags because some people like me haven't watched the trailer and have no intentions of ever doing so.
