I'm honestly still not sure if I could articulate my impressions on that. This series is just such a tone shift roller coaster that it's throwing me off when I try to think of what to write, so it just ends up being short posts like that when I do decide to post about it.

Though I am liking it quite a bit. The comedy is amusing from time to time, but I'm really into all the mysteries that have brought up. Seeing Hayate's brother's face, the revelation with king Midas, Aika's possible involvement, A-tan shrinking; so many questions that I'm psyched to see answered. I kind of see it in the same way as Sora no Otoshimono; maintaining a sense of humor, yet still implying something big going on behind the scenes.

There is a plot. And TLR is basically a romcom gag manga. I put it on the level of Onidere or any other "not to be taken seriously" silly read. There are also plenty of media works out there with nudity that don't require you to read them as porn. My definition of porn is quite different then TLR nor do I read it as such. That's up the individual so Grimace's painting of the entire audience is judgmental nonsense.
