I have the same issue, and it's actually an issue for me because I will be leaving on the 17th for a 3 month internship. I can't just "be patient for a few days." So what is recommended? Do I just call customer support or what?

Contact customer support and change the address to where you will be stationed for your internship.

I recommend calling them. Or actually, when you contact Amazom they will call you.

No release day, but you'll get the game.

AMAZON currently has this available again with release date delivery. Everyone should try going into their orders and changing the shipping speed to release date if they can.

I've already waited long enough. Yesterday when I got home form work, I order a new CPU/motherboard/memory just for Diablo 3. I'm currently playing the beta still and love it, unlike when I first played it and hated it. I've had my pre-order for Diablo 3's collectors edition ordered since February this year. There was no option for release-date shipping when I ordered it. Apparently, though, you can get release-date shipping ONLY when Amazon shows that the game is 'available for pre-order'. Otherwise, my currently estimated shipping date is May 23rd. I'm not really wanting to wait another week or two before I get my order. I contacted Amazon's Live Chat. No luck. "We don't offer release date shipping for that item." Well, yes you do, just not right now. I think it would be nice if Amazon emailed me that the option was open instead of me having to check back daily for my order. What can I do or what's my options? I wanted to email Blizzard about my impatient dilema but I have no idea how to do so. I might call GameStop later. That's how I had to get StarCraft II's collectors edition since the Amazon shipping date was far off.

Just order the standard edition - what is in the CE that is worth $40?

Also usually the day or two before release more will become available on Amazon for credit cards that get denied - happens with almost all Limited CE's of games.

Just checked and mine is set up for release-date delivery.

I'm still not sure if I really even want the CE, though. I barely touched any of the extras with my Starcraft 2 CE. I may end up cancelling and just getting the digital download directly from Blizzard.

You'll be able to walk into any store and get a Collector's Edition. Blizzard made a mistake with the original WoW CE by under estimating how many people would get the game, so they made sure there were plenty of CE's available for weeks after the launch of the expansions and StarCraft II.

I ordered mine day 1, and it is already set up as Release Date Delivery, although shipping speed is listed as 2 day still. Arrival Date is release date. This is with Prime, however.

Unfortunately I will be in court all day that day. Nobody better steal it from my door stoop!

I literally just now received an email from Amazon informing me that release date shipping now applies to the Diablo 3 CE.
