Shit, was it 2 years ago? But remember they had two... the one in Corio Village stuck around a little while longer, IIRC. I re-bought The Saboteur on 360 for cheap there a while back (only cracked the seal on it the other day, though).
Fuck yeah, J&M RRDs all up in this bitch. |

The one in town went bust about 12 months before it. Apparently there was meant to be one out here too but it never went through. I'm sure there was one in Mildura too but there isn't one there any more. Also now I'm watching Beverly Hills Cop clips because of you!

Right.
So I just finished Ocarina of Time for the first time ever (3D, obviously). I think I liked Skyward Sword more. But that's kind of because SS is clearly a 12 year refinement of the template. In the same way that most films these days allegedly borrow tropes established by Citizen Kane, it's dead clear to me that OOT is a landmark videogame which so many others I've played have since borrowed from and improved upon. I reckon if I had played this game to completion in 1998, it would be impossible for anything else to come close to it (Water Temple aside). As it stands, playing it in 2012 is more akin to reading The Iliad in 2007 (I did this). It's been improved upon in terms of individual features, yet its undeniably a top tier classic that, as a whole, is nigh on untouchable. /// So - in about 2010 I decided I was going to play through the "best of the best" (semi-using Edge's Top 100 as a guide) games that I had never done so. Resident Evil 4, Half Life 2 and now Ocarina of Time are under my belt and I feel so much better having finished them than I would do keeping up with the latest weekly fads in the interim. I'm toying with the idea of playing through a few different classics now. Some titles I haven't really considered before. Might have to chew this over for a bit. Maybe Sin & Punishment 2 for an interlude will do nicely. |

I went into the relatively new Pakenham EB Games for Starlight week and when I was there one of the workers literally squealed and jumped in happiness when I pre-ordered Lollipop Chainsaw, and then informed me she was going to be Juliet in the store on Friday.
I ended up running into her again today randomly at the train station and she then informed me that she met another girl who'll be dressing as Juliet at the Pakenham EB. Just for the record, Juliet wears a costume that got deemed too sexy for PAX. So I guess I'm going back to EB on Friday. Also Super Monday Night Combat is amazing, everyone play Super Monday Night Combat |

I hate that term. I know its people just categorising, but I can't help think that is also some derogatory term like an old game can't stand up to modern equivalents. Which is complete shit. |

Also Mirrors Edge shits on any other DICE single player game ever. Combat was poor but everything else was top quality and still unique. Also why would it be last gen? Still runs on current hardware.

Kotaku had an article up about it with photos of the girl in both outfits. IMO both outfits showed as much skin and cleavage as one another, but apparently the cheerleader one was fine. Go figure.

Yeah, its pretty stupid.
I just swipe. Even the more secure stuff like pin and that gesture thingy is a thousand times better/faster than face unlock. Its one of those 'hey lets try this out!' things that last 2 minutes, kinda like 'face unlock' on laptops and what not. |

Well mild spoilers
But if youre not really into the comics... iron man sets up iron man and pepper potts , agent coulson Iron man 2 sets up black widow and samuel l jackson, and teases thor Thor sets up the characters for thor and loki, teases Hawk and introduces Selvig and the photo of natalie portman Captain America sets up captain and the maguffin for the Avengers (the thing they're looking for The hulk movies set expectations for the hulk so low that you will be standing in your seat cheering in hulk scenes. If you really wanted to get in the mood for the movie play galaga |

Page 100!
The worst I've done so far is driving home from parties the morning after. Not drunk but obviously not zero BAC like needed for P platers. I finally got my first RBT the other week after driving for 2-3 years. I didn't even have to blow on the tube just count out loud in front of the device. I didn't even know that was a thing. hax
The Avengers > Iron Man > Thor > Incredible Hulk > Iron Man 2 > Captain America and no not important really

When your face is backlit it has a lot of trouble. We have a lamp in the lounge room so once it's dark and the lamp is on, face unlock virtually has no chance of getting it right. And yeah, it's not nearly fast enough. A nice idea, but ultimately I'll stick with the pattern unlock. |
