Of course I knew about it -- you can't pass a bunch of the harder levels even prior to that last tier without being able to do it. But I tend to play that game by feel, so I'd never really stopped and thought about the mechanics of what constitutes a "bunny hop" until the QL. Not surprisingly I got a little less clumsy with it after Ryan gave me a lesson.

Game looks cool though, but I've got Super MNC to satisfy my MOBA needs for now. Oh God, please no. I don't want to see the GB dudes get ground into a fine powder by the extreme tier trials.

I watched the quicklook and yea, it doesn't look appealing to me at all. I was sorta thinking about buying 3 months of plus for that and Trine 2, but I'm all of the sudden feeling like I wouldn't even play awesomenauts.

It was a daft point regardless, because the games, as hard as they are, allow everyone to stumble their way to the top due to the amount of checkpoints on each track. The series wouldn't be as loved/hated/loved if you'd have to one-shot every track.

Ok wow, that Awesomenauts QL totally sold me on the game. Looks super fun! And then I found out it was developed by Ronimo, so no doubts anymore at all, I'm dropping some monies on this.
At this point, I think it's safe to call Ronimo the masters of adapting PC-centric genres into fun downloadable console games. |

They've (Brad and co.) got better shit to do. Besides, why would anyone want to participate in a community where a non-trivial number of members are critical of you and vocal about it? It only takes a small amount of negative feedback to outweigh the potential good feelings from positive feedback. I wouldn't want to deal with it.

I was looking forward to some max difficulty sniper action from DVD, happy that it got any QL though.
