007-373-5963. I put this code in so fast that it looks tool-assisted, heh. Years and years of muscle memory at work here.

I had the star removal, healing, and spawn tank cheats for GTA III memorized for the longest time.
They're absolutely gone now though. Heh, I think last time I picked up GTA III after about 30 minutes muscle memory kicked in and I was doing it. |

Dozen of passwords if not hundreds... Even if most of them won't remind anything to anyone because being just series of letters/numbers. Among exceptions,
But after all those years, I haven't find whether were intended from the developpers or if it's just a coicidence that they work with the password system. I was nearly convinced that Justin Bailey (I wondered who she was before I learned the meaning of "bailey" in english ^_^ ) was not a random thing, but seeing the second one (which I didn't know), I'm doubting again...
Damn yes, this one two... I would never have thought of this one on my own, but yes, that's one I still remember. Many Bubble Bobbles ones, too (KZ5J, VLT1, etc.) So many codes on Gameboy...

One typical explanation of Justin Bailey is that it means "just in bailey," meaning Samus is just in her swimsuit, because bailey is a slang term for swimsuit. This is false, bailey has never been used as slang for swimsuit anywhere in the world.

While i cannot remember any Game Genie codes by heart... back in the day we used to have pages and pages of passwords written down for various games...
Some of the worst offenders for Length were... River City Ransom (NES) Little ninja Brothers (NES) It also was exceptionally cool to mess around with the game geni codes to see how you could alter the game.. Truly a lost art.. of a bygone era... |

When I was a kid, I rented Startopics for NES. All of a sudden I came to a part where you have to drive a submarine and it asked for a code that was to be found in the back of the instruction booklet.
I went to the store to ask for the booklet and they had thrown it away, it wasn't anywhere. No friends, no internet, no nothing to help. Since it was a 3 digit code, I went trying one by one 001 002 003 004 005 ...... until FUCKING SEVEN FUCKING FOUR MOTHER FUCKING SON OF A BITCH SEVEN I memorized 747 so deep that it turned into my code for baggage locks, and whenever a three digit code is asked or needed I choose this number. |

There's another Kid Icarus code which reads like something in Swedish, though gramatically incorrect.
DUVANS MAMMOR KOMMER BORTOT I think it gives you all the upgrades and puts you at the last level where you're flying. It was first mentioned in a Swedish Nintendo Magazine in the late 80s/early 90s or so. The phrase means something like: The pidgin's mothers (yes, plural) are coming away "Bortot" is not an actual word though, but it's similar to the word "Bortåt" which means away or "over there by the..." or beyond or something like that. Yeah it makes no sense but it was pretty hilarious.

Fuck that code. I had a mostly complete game, and thought it would be fun to play with a friend (one of us controlling the Force, the other controlling the Devils). So I used the code and enabled the configuration options, and everything was fine UNTIL LOADING THE GAME AGAIN. The next time I tried to load my game, the witch decided that she was going to delete my save file. Hours and hours of gameplay erased, just like that. I also apparently didn't learn my lesson, because I ended up using the code again on a later playthrough, and once again the witch deleted my save file. I should note that I was able to use the code plenty of times without this happening, but it wasn't worth it in the end :(. They should have at least provided you with a warning prior to enabling the configuration options.

Genie-Jafar-Aladdin-Abu was the code for the Genie stage in SNES Aladdin. Don't know why that's ingrained, but it is.
Pause the game then press Select 16 times. Can anyone guess the game? Also God mode in Twisted Metal 2: Hold all shoulder buttons then UP, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT, RIGHT, LEFT, DOWN, UP |

Still, That kinda solve the matter (it's always difficult to find information on foreign slang). |

Forgive me if these aren't right, it's been a while:
gabbagabbahey - Descent (don't even remember what it did) Holding down A+B when starting the game (after setting your team up) in NES Ice Hockey gives you an elastic puck. Doing the same thing at the player select screen gives you no goalies. Good times. |

LEDOUX = Wolfenstein3D badass cheat
I can still remember the message my friend left on the answering machine, informing me of it. When I returned home from school, I was greeted by my father who told me, "I don't know what the fuck 'ledoux' is, but your friend called and left a message repeating it over and over". |
