Also, I wonder if TS would have the population it does if 343 swapped places between it and super slayer. I imagine a lot of people just jump into the first thing on the list that's TS based.

Look at what happened between Anniversary Squad and Anniversary Classic. Squad had well over double the population of Classic, then one week they swapped their orders in the listing and the populations reversed overnight.

The Team Slayer name also carries a lot of mini-brand recognition, so a swap wouldn't do it entirely.

Domino was just talking about the difference between TU and Vanilla, I think. But yeah, you're right. No armor lock and no community Forge maps are important reasons that Squad was the best list in the game (aside from MLG, which I usually don't have the energy for). Super Slayer is a fucking travesty.

Yes, Squad was the first playlist of the changes Bungie was starting to implement across matchmaking. It also had Big Party matching one, which put teams against teams and randoms against randoms.

I just finished the match (One Flag CTF on Highlands) and we prevented the team from touching the flag during both rounds (and I just rewatched it in theater mode just to be certain....as if I could somehow miss the announcer screaming "Flag Stolen!" or something) and it didn't unlock.

Is this achievement glitchy or something? I've spent the past week trying to get this achievement on the ridiculously elusive Defiant map (with the even more elusive gametype) and now I'm probably gonna have to do it again >:(
