Hey, I recognize that. It's in downtown Vancouver, a stairway leading from street level down to a university campus (and small skating rink). They had it painted with a mural for the Olympics, it was pretty nice. Then they removed that, and it's back to plain 'ol concrete. Speaking as someone who doesn't use a wheelchair, it feels a lot safer than it looks in that picture.
I wish I lived where some of these other pictures are from, though! Good gravy! |

You can see Venus transit across the Sun on June 6th. With something to block the light, like with any other time you would look at the Sun of course. It'll probably be the last time you can see in your lifetime. |
