Ratatat. Amazing. Every time I saw them so far, but especially so in NYC. Bias, since they are probably my favorite band of all time, but still, their shows are awesome.

Rage Against the Machine
They've influenced me so much and the musician I have become. I have never seen them live. :( |

Of Monsters and Men at the Troubadour recently. They even had a second show because their first one sold out super fast. I was hesitant on going because none of my friends wanted to go/have different taste in music. Good thing they're playing in Outside Lands this year.

Kanye's Glow In The Dark tour made 2 stops in NC about a week before my 17th birthday. I don't hate myself for missing it, only my parents for being assholes about it.
That was the only thing I wanted and I made it clear that I would be fine with that as my only present. I figured I was doing them a favor asking for something that was <$100 rather than them buying me a bunch of games and dumb shit. I asked the day the tour dates came out and I mentioned it probably every week leading up to the concert until my mom laughed in my face and said "we're not getting you fucking concert tickets for your birthday" to which I replied "fine then don't get me shit" and that was that. |

Led Zeppelin
The Doors The Beatles Pink Floyd Jimmy Hendrix Carlos Santana Kraftwerk David Bowie Wish I was born when the above bands were at their peak (active) Nirvana Wish Kurt did more tours in North America in the mid 90's instead of blowing his head off. Daft Punk Porno for Pyros or Jane's Addiction The 90's Green Day No excuse, I should've made more effort to see them. That's about it, I am happy to say I've seen lotta great acts in the 90's like Tool Radiohead Beastie Boys Nine Inch Nails with David Bowie Rage Against the Machine etc. |

When I was in junior high, my brother and I got into the car so my mom could drive us to our Boy Scout meeting. On the way there, she said that she had wanted to take us to see Weird Al at the state fair, but at the last minute changed her mind because she felt it was more important for us to go to our meeting. That was bad enough, but then it turned out the whole meeting was just one of the parents showing us his Yukon vacation slides... which he had already shown us the previous year.

warped tour #1 - so many bands that would never play again for various reasons (quicksand, sublime). I even had a ticket, but no ride.
lollapalooza w/ alice in chains, I think it was the last time they played in new england. but overall I got to see way more than my share of concerts in my day, so don't feel bad for me. Disappointed that I never saw NIN I guess since I really did used to enjoy them back in the day however, but it was probably one of those shows where I would have been torn to shreds, so probably not so bad that I never saw them after all.. |

Michael Gira. I was pretty depressed at the time and totally forgot about it. Thankfully saw his band Swans (twice) when they came touring later. Still hate that I missed the solo show.

Oh god, that must have been rough. I almost missed Daft Punk when they toured Australia but luckily ended up getting tickets on the day of the concert. I generally drag my girlfriend to concerts even if she doesn't know who the band is. She's yet to be disappointed

I've missed the first PW concert beause I was sick like never. I was at the place early, heard him doing the warm-up through a door in Paris (centre Pompidou) but really couldn't go because I couldn't stop puking everywhere.
One or two years later I finally saw him in a festival in Paris. Best show ever. <3 Band I've missed and probably won't go to see now that they're not complete anymore or really relevant : Interpol. |

I've never really missed out on a band I really wanted to see. I think it's been instilled in me to attend every concert that I can as my dad had the opportunity to see Queen and didn't go. Apparently a teacher said to him during class; 'I bet you're going to see that puff on stage next week!' so out of intimidation my dad said he wasn't going, and his friend didn't get him a ticket.
Although I would've liked to have seen Justice this year but there were a lot of reasons not to go at the time, and I missed Modest Mouse as they were playing on the same day as Them Crooked Vultures but I saw them at Leeds Festival the following year anyway. |

Daft Punk's Alive-tour
Everyone of my friends cried that they had no time and money. So, I didn't go alone. After hearing about the concerts, seeing videos and reading reviews: Fuck "friends".. |

Most recently had paid tickets for:
-Soundwave ($170 I think they were) and Machine Head sidewave (side show - $70). Both of which I didn't make it to due to my depression and anxiety. I even had backstage passes for MH and most likely Soundwave waiting for me :( |

Ever since I got into daft punk and listened to Alive 2007 I regret I wasn't a fan of them earlier. I hope they do something soon.
Edit: Dude wait what the fuck they toured 2011/2012?!!?!!?!! |

Missed the Amebix reunion a couple years back because my brother was late in telling me he wanted to go too and by the time I looked for tickets they were sold out. Last time I ever told him about shows.
Also missed Daft Punk Alive 2007 because I got hit with an awful sickness that kept me in bed for like a week, but that's not as bad since I still saw them at Coachella. Still a bit bitter though. |

Back in '95 when I lived in Connecticut, I was supposed to see the Grateful Dead. I think they were playing in either Mass or Vermont. Then my work schedule changed, I didn't have that weekend off anymore, so I missed the concert. And a month later, Jerry Garcia died. I would never have the chance again.

Always wanted to see James Brown and Hendrix, but i only got into them after they'd died and was very tempted to go see Michael Jackson in London.
But i saw all three of them last year and more; Prince. Another was Leonard Cohen, he was playing near me and i didn't get a ticket, too expensive, £90; i read online later someone saying people were selling tickets outside for £30 But i was going into town to get something and my brother said he thought he saw him, we pulled up and i got to shake his and Sharon Robinsons hand. Then later saw him play Lissadell House for like four hours. Otherwise i've seen most people i wanted to see (stooges X3 / new york dolls X3 / MC5 / suicide / deep purple X 4 / stones / kills / neil young X 2 / pearl jam / dylan and a lot more) i have seen white stripes, but i was very young and don't remember it, would like to have seen them play again i'm not really into kasabian but the third album was amazing and i missed them on that tour, and i don't like the new record so thats over; same thing with yeah yeah yeahs, they played but on its blitz, and i don't like that album - wish i'd seen them really want to see patti smith, hopefully will with the new album if this is just pure fantasy, i would loved to have seen the stooges in any permutation from 68 - 73, the dolls in the early 70s, the stones in 72 /75 / 78 / 81 and wish i could see prince / neil young and pearl jam alternate playing every day of the week for the rest of my life |

it was rather amazing, only like 9 people there (without me and my friends there would've only been 6 lol). very intimate setting. loved it. we had a chance to talk with the guys and they were super nice, even gave my friend a free hoodie and cd. sorry man :D |
