Since the Pacer was a retro paint here are some retro chicks for you guys, I have only three so you have to share :D
![]() Anyway, I was wondering how many of you would be interested in getting some retro drag paints for some of the classic cars? Since my storefront is full and I won't remove anything for now (maybe one if this would work) I was thinking about making them limited editions (all of them) either 10 of each on the storefront or just one at the auction house. Those paint ain't that easy to make and I think I would challenge myself a little with this. Yeah, so the question is, will there be any interest in them, are people into that kind of paints? Let me know guys... Cheers, HD |

One of the latest one was about the Porsche 935 "Moby Dick". *sogood.gif* Fake edit : Damn beaten by BADNED himself ! :D |

I LOVE this car. The original "Widowmaker." Maybe you can help us out BADNED, does this Porsche pack dash any hopes of getting the final RUF Yellowbird?
Edit: nm, found it.

And is it safe to say that no more tracks are going to be added? It's the only downside for me while trying to finish every race in the Event List. |

I'd bet money that they were included in the game during development and removed when the licensing deal couldn't get worked out. |

Off Topic: I am not sure if anyone here watches PassTime on Speed, but I am going to be on the episode that airs that on Wednesday night at 7pm. Tune in if you want to watch me look like a tool. Here is a quick clip of the final car that ran on my episode. |

EA keeping Porsche for a few months worked out pretty sweetly for Turn 10, didn't it? A bunch of content that was originally going to be included in the price of the original game, and that forms but a very small fraction of the overall content of said game, will soon be released at a price higher than you can now buy the original game for.
I guess I'd be feeling a little less violated if there were a couple of, like, new tracks included in the astronomical asking price. Seriously, it's great to have Porsche back in Forza - but if EA had been a little more gracious six months ago we'd have had them all on day one at no extra cost. Why are Turn 10 or Microsoft charging so much for them when they wanted them included in the original game? I really think we are being taken advantage of here. |

You might even get some bonus content therein for around the same price as the Porsche DLC. BTW: I suspect that part of the price is to offset whatever ransom EA asked for the sublicense. |

Turn 10 know this. Every developer knows this. Episodic content is the future of videogames whether we like it or not. Our hobby just got a lot more expensive than it used to be. |

I'd be more hyped but then I remember that I still have to virtually buy the cars AFTER I actually pay money for the DLC. That's the part that always rubs me the wrong way.
I honestly think its a fucking horrible way to do things. If I spend real world money on a car I want to be able to use that car in all modes as soon as I've bought it. |

I've never understood why they don't chuck a million credits in with each DLC car pack. |

Yeah, I really hope they give one or two millions with the Porsche Expansion Pack. I mean they're adding a lot of stuff (relative to other FM titles) in this pack, why not drop some money for us peasant who can't paint ! :D
Wait, what ? They've constantly added ALMS cars in car packs. They have a very good part of the field covered now thanks to DLC (I'm talking about individual cars, not duplicates obviously). |
