Man didn't know Urabe was so "equipped".
Probably not, seems GOHANDS are quite busy with K. http://k-project.jpn.com/character/ Dat Neko. Also I can't remember if there's enough source material left for a second season anyway... hopefully they get around to one in the future, I'm happy they gave us these OVAs though. (I still need to watch 2 and now 3!) Team Shino all day every day. I hope a certain chapter is eventually animated, but yeah it really isn't that kind of show, unless things have changed lately |

[Mysterious Girlfriend X] - 5
There wasn't really any time for anything new or interesting to happen this episode because it was largely devoted to boys trying to get a glimpse at girls bodies, thinking about girls bodies and fantasizing about seeing girls bodies. I suppose this makes it a dangerously accurate depiction of the mind of a teenage boy. I feel like there's something rather unwholesome about Urabe getting a glimpse into her boyfriends mental state - surely he should be allowed to have some secrets? It seems to be something of an invasion of privacy. Oh, and I suppose we also got a glimpse of sweat and tan fetishes this week. I am sure this will please many. |

Space Bros 6
Excellent. Mutta is awesome. Good to see that Hibito isn't the only one out there rooting for our hero. Hyouka 3 Was it just me, or was this episode a big improvement?

And while the show still has the same amount of talking heads in closed rooms, I feel like more time passed in this episode, which lead to some nice direction. The scene in the cafe, as well as the midterms, both were really well done.

With the wealth of talent KyoAni have to hand I feel like they could almost make this material interesting. It's a shame, for me, that I just can't care about this show because the cinematography and animation are top-notch. However, they're not enough to keep me returning to the show week after week.

Imagine how good Hyouka would be if it had some good old fashioned rape or murder.
It's just hard to care, even for the mystery that Chitanda sets up in the beginning, since it'll probably be as lame and ordinary as all the other "mysteries" so far in the show. |

I understand commercially why they want to work in an idyllic high school environment, but it loses a lot of its charm when the protagonist is trying his hardest to live the most boring high school life possible. I guess he's succeeding? |

It's not hard to locate the two biggest problems with Hyouka, neither of which have anything to do with the actual quality of the production:
Detective stories aren't just popular because detective-type characters demonstrate their cognitive abilities to decipher mysteries. They're popular because crime and murder are interesting topics. When someone has been murdered most people would say that it's really important to know who did it and why. When someone borrows a book regularly from a library, or opens their windows to let air out a room, it doesn't engender the same interest.
Perhaps they're will be some radical event which forces him to alter his position on life at some point in the future, but it doesn't seem like that's going to happen anytime soon based on what I've seen so far. |

I guess this is what happened: In one of her many performances, she attracts the interest of Marquis Albert de Blois, who is interested in her bloodline. She is later kidnapped by Albert, who after keeping her inside the Blois Mansion for a year, impregnates her. On Christmas Day of 1910, a child was born: Victorique de Blois. "She" being the loli's mother (who is as loli as her daughter). And then apparently there's like a government conspiracy and things blow up, or something. I only looked it up because there's a particular scene near the end of the show that shows up in a bunch of sakuga stuff. e: It's just really weird.
