Awesome thanks for the help!

Could you provide some guidance on a good way to bind the buttons? The Attack 3 Joystick has 6 buttons on the base, a scroll-type button, 4 buttons for the thumb on top of the joystick, and one trigger button.

The scroll button is for throttle which WC1&2 doesn't support. Top buttons I usually assign to switching guns, firing missiles, switching targets, and locking onto a target. I recommend you play a bit to see what's the best fit for you.

And I'm Back.

Rigel System. Enigma Sector

Pre-Mission: O-Deck - Stingray & Major Edmond (the blonde woman we've only previously seen on our comm display) are sharing rumors they've heard about the pirates. Edmond's notes that the Gettysburg has been missing for weeks. Stingray asks me about anything I may have heard.

Hehe...Dirk Hehe

I tell them both to stow it with the rumors. This is a military ship and I won't brook no idle gossip. Major Edmond mistakenly addressees me as Captain before correcting herself. She seethes as she obeys my order to quit the gossip.

During Mission: Angels Office - Angel briefs me on the mission. The Admiral has informed her of the goings on with the pirates. Seems the CO of the Gettysburg was near N'Tanya (a defecting Kilrathi planet) and ordered his men to fire on the asylum seekers. When they didn't comply, that's when the mutiny started. Of course being an illegal order, they had every right not to comply I mention. So the mutineers have divided into two factions. One that wants to listen to us and one that doesn't. The side that does has agreed to send a delegation to speak with us. Angel informs me though that Gettysburg was also out testing the new Crossbow bomber prototypes when all this went down so be advised to check for some as the side that doesn't trust us will most likely attack.

Two Renegade Epee's intercept me on the way to Nav1. I nail them both without taking a scratch*. Nav1 proper is empty. Nav2 has two ferrets. Unfortunately, they destroy my radar & acc. absorbers and damage my power plant, shields, and intercom but I destroy them both. Two more then show up. I get them without taking anymore damage. At the Rendezvous point, I meet Jason "Bear" Bondervarsky. I inform them that I was sent to bring them back to Concordia. No less than four Renegade Epee's try to ambush us at Nav4. It's hectic but I manage to down them all. Mission complete, we all Land at Concordia. Upon Landing, I'm informed that the Admiral wants to meet with me.

Post Mission Wrap-Up: Admiral Tolwyn's Office - I tell the admiral about the success of my mission and my 10 killscore.

Sorties: 90
Kills: 785

*It took me a few tries with this as It's been awhile since I last played. Had to get used to it again.

Rigel System. Enigma Sector

Pre-Mission: Detention Cell 1-D - Major Edmond radio's me to head to the detention cells at once. The Admiral is waiting for us there to interrogate Bear. He recounts how Rigel Depot was taken. Seems one of the stations team tried to get loose and a bloodbath ensued. Bear says that the only reason they took Rigel was for supplies. Tolwyn believes him. Problem now is how to retake the depot. With the Gettysburg stationed nearby, it would be too difficult to accomplish. So the admiral suggests separating the Gettysburg from the depot. Bear volunteers but the admiral shoots him down saying that technically he's still a renegade and that he would rather give him a medal (pfft, that's not how he treated me). So I volunteer instead.

During Mission: Flight Deck - Angel meets me and says Tolwyn informed her of the mission specs. I'm to sweep the Nav points where my comp will instantly transmit a signal informing Gettysburg that she's been pardoned. I'm also to take out Rigel Depot as the admiral deems it unsalvageable. I get a Sabre for this mission.

Two renegade Ferrets at Nav1. I take them down no problem. Three more then show up. I take some minor armor damage but take out two and my gunner gets the last one. A wave of two Epee's followed by another wave of two at Nav2. I take them all with only slight armor damage. Nav3 is empty. While at Nav3, I get contacted by one of the Gettysburg pilots. He suggests that I leave at once but I tell him I'm staying till I can rendezvous with the Gettysburg. Five minutes later he signals the coordinates. I meet the Gettysburg and am contacted by Lt. Col. Poelma. Poelma asks me who I am and what am I doing here. I tell Poelma that Bear gave me the coordinates and that I was sent to speak with them. Poelma orders me to land.

Post Mission Wrap-Up: I'm ordered to the Brig upon landing.

Rigel System. Enigma Sector

Pre-Mission: TCS Gettysburg: Brig - I demand to know where my gunner is being kept. Col. Poelma (I got his rank wrong in the last update) says that my gunner is fine and in another cell. I tell Poelma that I was sent here under orders from Admiral Tolwyn that the crew have been pardoned and that they had every right not to obey an illegal order. I tell them to change course and head for the Concordia. Poelma informs me that they can't because a confed convoy is en route to the depot. They don't know it's been taken over and will most likely be slaughtered when they arrive. I order them to help me attack the depot but they say that all there crew left with the commodore. So I insist that they let me & my gunner out and refuel my saber. They have another idea.

During Mission: I launch in one of the new Crossbows* with Poelma and another wingman with me. We rendezvous with two Clydesdale's at Nav1 and inform them of the depots capture. We escort them to the new jump point out system. In between the Nav1 and the Jump Point are two rogue Epee's which I destroy quickly. No enemies at the jump point so we wait for the clydesdale's do jump before heading to the depot. The Depot is being defended by six Epee's. I knock out one and one of my wingman get's one too. I kill the other four. The depot is destroyed by my wingman (but the game says I killed when I land). No damage and the mission a success, we land on Concordia.

Post Mission Wrap-Up: I land and meet Tolwyn on the bridge. I notify him of my mission success. He says that I have 24hrs off and that now that the mutineers have been dealt with, I will be finally leaving with Paladin for our special ops engagement once my R&R is over.

Sorties: 92

*About the Crossbow. It's a bad ship like most WC2 ships go but better than others. It's got no side turrets unlike the broadsword which it's supposed to be replacing but the view from the cockpit is severely reduced due to those large things in front. It does have 3x Mass drivers & 2x Neutrons in front but that just makes it's weapon power drain faster. All in all, I'd rather have a Broadsword.

Ghorah Khar System. Enigma Sector

Pre-Mission: Barracks - Paladin is waiting for me in the barracks. I ask him what he's doing here so early since he was supposed to be here tomorrow. He says he had to move up the schedule a bit and asks me if I can be ready in half an hour. I tell him that I just need ten minutes to grab my duffle bag and flight suit. Major Edmond's and Hobbes will be joining us once Paladin briefs the Admiral. I ask why she's coming and he says that she's the best commo officer in the sector. The major & Paladin will leave on the Bonnie Heather and I with Hobbes as my chief gunner will fly escort.

During Mission: I say goodbye to Angel on the flight deck and kiss her goodbye (ugh...game). James radio's me that he's locked on course for the jump point via Nav1 and will autonav on my mark. I'm still in a crossbow.

Nav1 is empty. Three drakhai flown drakhri at the jump point. One gets away. The Bonnie Heather jumps during the battle. I get the other too though and then Jump out. Four Imperial Guard Strakha and a Dorkathi transport greet us upon jump. I take out the four guards with some difficulty but the draw me far away from the transport. I race towards the Dorkathi. I take it out with a torpedo and then catch up to the Bonnie Heather. No other enemies sighted so we head off to Olympus Station were I inform them of our encounters.

Post Mission Wrap-Up: 7 kills total save for that one that got away.

Ghorah Khar System. Enigma Sector

Pre-Mission: Olympus Station Flight Deck - James informs me of the situation with Ghorah Khar and the other rebelling planets. As we remember (since we helped them), 10 years ago, Ghorah Khar defected to Confed. Ever since then, Kilrah has tried to reclaim the planet at any cost. Olympus Station was built here eight years ago to defend the natives of Ghorah Khar. But now the stakes are much higher. Three other planets along the Kilrathi-Enigma frontier - N'Tanya, K'arakh, and Shariha - are also rebelling. As each Kilrathi planet joins the Confederation, the Empire is slowly being whittled away from within. The Emperor can't afford to lose any more planets. The political damage will destroy his regime. So we believe his plan is to retake or destroy Ghorah Khar. If that happens the other rebelling planets would quickly fall into line. Our job is to stop that from happening. Hobbes has already left for the planet to help the rebel forces while we take care of the space forces. Paladin then informs me that he has to meet with the station commander about the crossbow contingent and that I should meet with him in the Auxiliary comm room in one hour.

During Mission: Auxiliary Comm Room - Major Edmond is talking with Paladin. They've intercepted a message from a Rebel Ralatha. en route to N'Tanya. Paladin has Edmond radio that we're on our way. He informs me of my mission. We've been running guns & supplies to the rebels there and they sent a Ralatha to rendezvous with us. I'm to take the Clydesdale to meet with it via Nav1 then return to Olympus via Nav2.

Three Jalkehi at Nav1. I get two while the third shoots up the Clydesdale. I take the last one out but his gunner takes out most of my front armor. The rendezvous with the Ralatha is enemy free so we head out to the jump point after I radio the Ralatha. Two Grikath's on our way to jump point. I manage to nail them both but the Clydesdale does take some more damage. Two Kamekh cruisers are guarding the Jump Point. I destroy them both but my shield generators take minor damage. Both the Ralatha & the Clydesdale jump out ok. Five Drakhri at Nav2. I waste no time in mopping them up. I head back to Olympus where Major Edmond radio's me about my mission. I tell her it was a success.

Post Mission Wrap-Up: 12 kills total for me (you wouldn't believe how many times it took me to do this mission. Damn clydesdale kept getting killed by the grikaths)

Ghorah Khar System. Enigma Sector

Pre-Mission: I have a chat with Major Edmond upon my return to Olympus Station about her tone with me. She doesn't want to talk about it but now that I outrank her, I order her to talk. Seems four years ago she didn't unscramble a Kilrathi code correctly aboard the TCS Kirsk in the Hell's Kitchen system. She thought the enemy hadn't detected them yet but then squadrons of cat fighters showed up. 2,000 people were lost and she spent six months in a burn ward were they managed to reconstruct her face. Afterwords, she was reassigned to Concordia. Seems once I showed up, it reminded her of her previous failure.

During Mission: Flight Deck - Paladin has a mission for me. Hobbes has just returned from his time downside with the rebels. He's returning with some human pilots that need some flight training. He wants them to learn from me. But more importantly, he wants them to stay alive so it's a simple patrol around Olympus. Hobbes has already launched so I'm to meet them at Nav1. I'm in a Sabre for this mission.

I launch and meet them at Nav1. There are Five of us in total for this mission. A Kamekh and her Sartha escorts at Nav2. One of the rookies bags the Corvette while I'm jousting with the fighters. I get two while Hobbes and the others get the remaining. A wave of Jalkehi at Nav3. One of the Rookeis doesn't make it though. I lose my aft armor but nail three of them.

Post Mission Wrap-Up: Five total kills and I wish I could have come back with all the rookies.

Ghorah Khar System. Enigma Sector

Pre-Mission: Olympus Station - Major Edmond informs Hobbes & I that Paladin is with Colonel Marnier of Ghorah Khar and the station commander for the time being so he informed her of our current mission. An Imperial Kilrathi Intelligence team is planning on dropping a data pod with invasion plans at the edge of the system. The data pod is at Nav2 and the intelligence teams are at Nav1 & 3. We're going to retrieve the data pod, crack their codes, and substitute it for OUR invasion plans. If all goes well, we can lead them straight into our defensive forces.

During Mission: Flight Deck - I talk to Hobbes while we wait for our Sabres to be refueled. He wonders what happened to his family in the ten years since he defected. Since they're cat nobility, the emperor can't attack them outright. He ponders how long will this war go on till the empire will collapse in on itself.

Four Drakhri at Nav1. I waste them all though Hobbes does try and shoot through me once. Luckily I take no damage from it. I head for Nav3 instead of Nav2 next to avoid the mine field in the way though it does mean I have to navigate an asteroid field. I manage to get hit by an asteroid and it destroys my front armor completely. Four more Drakhri at Nav3 which I have no problem with. After they're destroyed, I set course for the data pod. Two Grikaths in the mine field at Nav2. I lose a particle gun and my comp gets hit but I nail one and the other is destroyed by Hobbes. Hobbes is too damaged so he radios me that he's heading back to base. I tractor in the pod and then head back to Olympus.

Post Mission Wrap-Up: I radio in the mission success to Major Edmond before landing.

Ghorah Khar System. Enigma Sector

Pre-Mission: Flight Deck - Major Edmond informs me that patrols have detected a "small" strike fleet down the corridor established by the decoy data pod. I wonder why the cats aren't sending a larger force.

During Mission: I'm ordered to launch immediately. Me, Hobbes, and Lieutenant Landis (a red shirt) are heading straight for the strike fleet in Crossbows.

Three Drakhri in between us and the task force. I get all three. Four more as we get near the task force. I get three and Hobbes gets the last one. The task force consists of two Fralthra. Landis manages to kill both before they can jump (damn npc can fire off torps in seconds)

Post Mission Wrap-Up: We head back to base. I radio in the mission success but Paladin tells me that I'll have to relaunch once I'm refueled and reloaded. Seems the task force is bigger than expected. Our patrols tried to radio this in but were killed before they could. It was only thanks to Major Edmond's comm skill that we found out.

Ghorah Khar System. Enigma Sector

Pre-Mission: Flight Deck - I say my farewells to Paladin as he will be heading to the Sharma System to track the vectors of the incoming fleet. I warn him that with him alone, if any cats catch wind of him...but he stops me right there to say that we don't have enough ships to cover both him and Olympus.

During Mission: I'm ordered to launch immediately. After I launch, I get a radio from Paladin. Seems he ran into trouble at the jump point. His ship's jump capacitor is damaged so he can't jump but that's not the weird part. A wing of cats jumped in two minutes ago but they aren't attacking him. Instead they're attacking the other cats.

A Fralthra and her Grikath escorts are at the base once we launch. I nail 2 of the fighters and the other gets destroyed by someone else. The cap ship also gets nailed by a random Olympus guard. Hobbes & I then set course for the jump point out system and jump once we reach it. Upon entering the new system, my ship pics up a Kilrathi escape pod. I ask Paladin if I should tractor it in and he says it's ok and that I should help him on the double. Four Jalkehi's are waiting for us after our jump. Hobbes gets one. I nail one who was attacking me while I was focused on one of his buddies. My front armor gets taken down but no internal damage. The one I'm working on unfortunately flees and the other two must have ran as I don't see them anywhere. Two more Jalkehi are attacking the Bonnie Heather but I nail them both with my Pilum FF Missiles.

Post Mission Wrap-Up: I put myself in parking position of the Bonnie Heather and radio Paladin. His ships power regulator is damaged so he can't jump back to Olympus. On the Bonnie Heather, Hobbes tells me who the stranded cat pilot is. None other than Prince Thrakkath himself. Seems his suit's heat regulator was malfunctioning and without me picking him up, we would have frozen to death (damn).

Ghorah Khar System. Enigma Sector.

Pre-Mission: Bonnie Heather Brig - I head down to the brig to see how our prisoner is doing. He's livid with anger. Thrakkath orders Hobbes to release him at once. Hobbes disobeys of course. Paladin asks Thrakkath what happened. Seems Khasra (his cousin) tried to assassinate him to make a plea for the throne. Thrakkath killed Khasra's allies but Khasra himelf escaped. The prince asks what we will do with him. Paladin says that we're talking him to Confed HQ but until then, he's a "guest" aboard the Bonnie Heather.

During Mission: Paladin asks me to get down to the comm room pronto and to bring the crown prince with me. Khasra radio's in that he has us surrounded and that if we give him Thrakkath, he will let us go unharmed. Thrakkath threatens Khasra. He wants me to escort him to the airlock so he wont die aboard an enemy vessel. I tell him no chance in hell. He says than that he will fight with me. I tell him he's going right back in the brig. Five Minutes Later, I have undocked with the Bonnie Heather and radio Paladin but get no answer. I radio Hobbes but still no answer. Thrakkath appears on the screen and says that he knocked out Hobbes (but not hard enough to kill him since Hobbes is one of the few cousins that hasn't tried to kill him) and stole his crossbow. I tell him that I will shoot him down but he replies that He his well out of missile range and that he is going to kill Khasra. I radio in vain hopes that Paladin can hear me that I'm going after Thrakkath before he can get to the jump point.

I auto to Thrakkath's position were Khasra & five of his buddies in Gothri are firing at the heir to Kilrah. Thrakkath manages to kill one before jumping out. I get the other four before turning my attention to Khasra. I takes a bit but I kill him with my guns. My armor is a little beat up but no significant damage. I head back to the Bonnie Heather and dock.

Post Mission Wrap-Up: Not a very long mission and only 5 kills out of 6 possible.

I'll post. I love these games and have finished most of them. I'd gladly do a replay but being married and with a child I find it difficult enough to find time to play games I havn't completed, not to mention ones I played through repeatedly ages ago.

Keep up the good work though! This thread bubbles with sweet nostalgia and I quite enjoy reading through the new posts every once in a while.

Also, Wing Commander 2 is in my opinion the pinnacle of the series, and a shining beacon for the Golden Age of PC gaming (1987 - 1994 R.I.P.), alongside various other gems from Origin, Sierra On-line, Microprose, etc. The game balances action and narrative perfectly and seamlessly and I hope this thread inspires everyone on GAF to give it a playthrough. It really is well worth it.

Is there a post in here that sums up best practices with regards to getting a flight stick working with these? I played these when they were originally released and I'm ready for some nostalgia.

Looks like OP is using a Saitek P990, which is a gamepad?

You don't need them. Gog.com has games 1-4 and Privateer for like $6 each (1+2 together, 3, 4, and Privateer separate though). Though they still haven't gotten around to adding the expansion packs for 1, 2, and Priv.

if I end up getting any of them I'd go for the 1+2 pack...I never beat any of them growing up, but I remember them being *really* badass. Does the GoG version have the voice acting in it? I remember that was an optional pack in WC2, was a couple more floppies you had to install on top of WC2 to get voices for the wingmen and whatnot.

Let's finish off WC2: Special Operations 1! Was going to wait till after E3 but let's face it, it's pretty much done.

Ghorah Khar System. Enigma Sector

Pre-Mission: Orbiting Olympus Station - Myself and Hobbes jump in with the Bonnie Heather behind us. The Comm officer is surprised to see me. Seems he thought I was dead. Apparently, three of the five carrier groups attacked the station yesterday and Olympus was hit hard. They lost 14 pilots on the first wave and the second wave is fifteen minutes away on final approach. They've been trying to call for reinforcements but the cats have been jamming the frequencies. I ask them if they have any fighters ready. Only a Ferret and two Sabres are ready. He asks if I want my Crossbow refueled but I tell him me & Hobbes will fly the Sabres instead.

During Mission: Olympus Flight Deck - I meet Major Edmond to congratulate her on detecting the strike fleet earlier. She warns me that the odds of surviving this assault are low but I tell her I can handle it. I also ask if she can try and get a message out of the cats jamming to request for reinforcements. The alarms blare as the strike force is near so I launch immediately.

Two Sartha's approach us on the way to the Fleet. As I'm about to open fire, Bear radio's in that the Admiral sent him and his wingman to join us. Relieved to have some extra fire power, I tell him to join formation. The two cats don't stand a chance against the four of us as I nail them both.

Four Gothri's are guarding no less than 2 Fralthra's! I manage to snag one fighter before most of my front armor is shot off. Hobbes returns to base just as I kill another Gothri. I manage the last two but Bear's wingman is killed. Bear manages to damage a Fralhtra before having to eject. I take out the one that Bear damaged but not before losing most my armor. I also take out the other one but lose my ejector system, a torpedo, power plant, and my radar is destroyed. Mission complete I tractor in Bear and head back to Concordia.

Post Mission Wrap-Up: Flight Deck - I land to a full flight deck. The Admiral is there to congratulate me on a job well done. He also reports that due to our efforts here, the three rebelling cat systems will have no problem routing the Imperial cat forces.

Pre-Mission: Akko Station - I launch in a Rapire II only to be radioed that my leave have been canceled. Not without it's upsides though as I'm to escort prison ship Bastille to prison ship Alcatraz where "Jazz" Colson will be handed off so he can be executed on earth.

I autopilot to the Nav point but then all hell breaks loose. I get radioed that the freighters Xebec and Delphinium are under attack by four Imperial guard Jalkehi. What's worse is the Bastille signals in that Mandarin Hijackers are talking over the ship and are attempting to activate its jump drive (which they end up doing).

The Delphinium manages to kill one fighter but gets destroyed herself later. I nail the two and one gets away but take damage to my front armor. At Nav1, is the Alcatraz under attack by two Sartha. I get one with my missiles but the other manages to escape so I head back to Concordia.

Post Mission Wrap-Up: Admiral Tolwyn's Office - The Admiral is upset that Jazz got away. I tell him it wasn't my fault. He says he knows but what's worrying is that Jazz managed to send us a message before he escaped that Tolwyn wants me to see:

Quote:
"It was very touching to see my old friend Phoenix, escorting me to my execution. The last time we crossed paths, Rad, you were lucky. The next time we meet....you'll be dead."
We'll see about that Jazz.

Seems I was wrong on the system and sector from last mission. I've amended it.

Canewdon System. Deneb Sector.

Pre-Mission: Kabla Meth, Kilrathi HQ Deneb Sector Seems Prince Thrakhath attacked a human colony after decimating the 6rh battle fleet as he reports to his emperor. The Emperor is pleased with this and asks about their spy Colson and the Morningstar Project.

Meanwhile

Concordia Briefing Room 0500 - Angel informs us that since we've jump in, we have no idea where the enemy base is. So Me and Stingray are on a simple 4 point Nav sweep.

During Mission: Three Gothri at Nav 1. The first one crashes into me, killing him but destroying my acc. absorbers and my front armor. Stingray destroys one and I get the last one. Four Sartha are guarding a Dorkathi Transport at Nav 2. Stingray kills one before having to run for it leaving me to mop up the last 3 and the 'sport. Nav 3 is empty. Three more Gothri in the asteroids on the way back to Concordia. I deal with them amazingly without taking more damage and land back at base.

Post Mission Wrap-Up: I talk to Sparks after landing. She tells me about the new test ship Morningstar that Concordia is supposed to shake down.

Kills: 870
Sorties: 102

This is also the last mission for the Rapier II. Good riddance. The Rapier was never really suited to this game. It underperformed in all areas. If it weren't for the Epee, this would be the worst fighter in the game.

Canewdon System. Deneb Sector

Pre-Mission: Flight Deck

Lol What Happened to Maniac?

Ok, Who Made That Man A Major & A Squad Test Pilot?

Morningstar? Sounds Intriguing

During Mission: Bridge - Me and Maniac are ordered to the Bridge immediately. Seems one of his test pilots failed to jump. Maniac says that the jump systems weren't working properly but should be fixed soon. We can't take the new Morningstars since their tractors aren't online yet (jeez, is anything working on these new fighters?). I offer my assistance to pick the pilot up. Maniac wants the duty but the Admiral reprimands him for such shoddy leadership.

Stingray & I in a pair of Sabre's. Four Grikath in the asteroids in between us and the downed pilot. I destroy one before they can even fire. One crashes into me only lightly damaging my front armor but kills him. Stingray gets one and the last one runs away. Five Drakhri are at the pilot's coordinates. I get four and Stingray manages the last one before I tractor in the pilot. On our way back to base, the lone Grikath that got away is in the asteroids but I end up killing him. Mission successful, we head back.

Post Mission Wrap-Up: Flight Deck - I meet with the downed pilot, Captain Maria "Mynx" Grimauldi. She thanks me for saving her since she had to self destruct her fighter so the cats couldn't get their claws on it. I ask her what happened out there. She's talked to the engineers but they still don't know how these random jump drive failures keep happening.

I still know WC3 line for line, it's scary.

Is this a good thread for that?

Let's just say I'm hard wired that way.

After flying his first few sorties, while reluctantly assigned to the TCS Victory, Colonel Blair works on his first true conquest.

Rachel.

Maybe if he plays his cards right, he'll be flying that.

The ship, I mean.

Boy has WC3 aged well. Still so awesome.

Maniac and Flint griping about the new arrival.

Mr. 'Flash'.

Maverick guarantees we'll see what he can do.

Wasn't that the guy from Star Wars?

Then suddenly, Ambush.

Flash did jack.

Blair regulates.

And maybe finds a way into the cockpit.

Oh the memories of middle school/jr high WCII and the SO packs bring back.

When I'd launch my uber missile off of a Morningstar Manic would sweep in and shoot it up. Man that guy was annoying.

So my friend got on my case for skipping WC2, which I've never played, so I started that up since I'm not too far into WC3.

Yeesh.

Tech seems a bit iffy. Is there a reason the death scenes are playing extremely fast? The pilot goes boom in like three seconds.

Also had no idea it had voice.

Wing Commander was very open. You can navigate away of important way points when you knew the enemies. Go direct to the main mission, before take damage in unnecessary combats.

Wing Commander 3 and 4 was a very product of your time, with the video. But not that bad, I feel very nostalgic too. Mark Hamill is one of those actors that we felt tacky in the 90s but today is cool. :)

I always thought Hamill was amazing as Blair, from day 1.

Does the speed up happen while you play or just the death scenes?

Voice is only good in that tacky "We work at Origin and have no idea how to emote" kind of way. Otherwise I would turn it off.

Just the death scenes and the autopilot flight. Everything else seems fine.

Does importing from WC1 work with the GOG release?

Hmm...either you're just not accustomed to it or there's something going on that I can't help with.

You mean importing a save file right? Should since their release are the original games.

I agree. I mean, I appreciate that they were trying to add more flare to the cockpit damage but radar destruction was going too far.
