So Fable Heroes is a pretty weak game. I can't believe they'd release a beat 'em up in 2012 that doesn't even have basic XXXYY-style combos. It's all just mash X all day.

Gauntlet Legends didn't have combos either... I know... I think it's a funky idea too. Lionhead seems to make a lot of these. Haven't played the demo myself yet, so can't say much more, will wait till playing myself:) |

Also, wait, "Gauntlet advanced?" Then why is every single level a straight line from left to right when Gauntlet was a much more free-form game with open, sprawling levels? That comparison is just BS by Lionhead.

I bought Fable Heroes. It's fine for 800pts and fun seeing all of Albion in this cute style.

I liked the Fable Heroes trial, I'll buy it tonight. I did not like Awesomenauts though, the matches were too long for my taste.

Anybody purchased Nexuiz? I got hooked up on Quake Live the past days and I really liked the Nexuiz trial back when it was released, but my major problem seems to be unsolved ever since: there are no players. Because of that awful matchmaking system, I was waiting for 25 minutes yesterday and still was not able to find enough players to start a single match! Is it the same with the full version or only the trial is useless? Because I would definitely buy it ... :\

The game is excellent though and, if people are still playing, well worth the 800. Check the official forums for activity; if there are still posts being made here and there, you should be safe. I don't have it installed and am hurting for space so I can't really check for you. Way to miss the point! Point is that the 800 price point does not make a mediocre game better, because there are actually excellent games on the service that are also 800. No need to buy a lesser game just because it's cheap, when far better games are just as cheap. That's a pretty rational thought if you ask me, but that was a totally sweet burn brah. |

I think the big question is if this will be retail or XBLA. Their last game was retail and it also seemed to push Microsoft to buy them. Also, I can't think of one internal studio at Microsoft that only develops XBLA titles. |

Nah, its too soon to reveal yet another 'Splosion game, the guys at Twisted P are full of ideas and would hate to only make 'Splosion games. Expect this to be original, and count me in as excited as these guys are one of my fave studios. |

I'd imagine after the success of Gunstringer they'd be doing another Kinect title.

Achievements for Street of Rage and Golden Axe are out, lazy Sega still using twelve achievements although the points are boosted up to 400.

Music DLC might be worth a look if you've got Xbox Rewards, because you get 80 back for spending 240. Of course, it's all Hero stuff and nobody owns those games do they?

Next Wednesday is Sonic 4-2 and Jam music game thing. Then Dragon's Lair on the Friday.
Can't remember passed that. :( Edit: yeah, seems Lifelower has nothing further on, either. https://sites.google.com/site/xblareleaseschedule/home

I don't think anything will go back and up its achievement points, I'm not even sure the system could cope with it. What would happen to my profile when an achievement worth 40pts was only 20pts when I unlocked it? At best they'll add DLC to up the value a bit but there's no way that's happening to Perfect Dark.

On major nelson's blog Chaos Theory is listed @ 50% off, thus it should be 600 MS points but its 800 points. |

Yup. Same as the Alex Kid and Unrelated Games pack.
http://www.xbox360achievements.org/g.../achievements/ http://www.xbox360achievements.org/g.../achievements/ I'm less annoyed at the points value than I am at the fact that they could be using thirty achievements now. Given that these are packs of three games, they could REALLY use the added bump in that regard. |

Still plenty of games with 200 Points still coming out, devs probably didn't even know this was a thing until Arcade Next lineup was announced. |

If so, I expect the same quality, in terms of ports fidelity and options (such as a region switch to play uncensored SoR2 and SoR3). |
