I wear a suit and tie to work every day even though it is not required (I'm an college instructor). But I would not dare to call someone else immature just because they didnt chose to do likewise. Frankly, I see myself as playing the game the easy way, not the more "mature" way. I take the cop out of trying to gain authority and respect before I earned it.

He's Mark Zuckerberg, the guy created one of the most influential websites in history and is worth almost 18 billion dollars. Dude has earned the right to dress however he wants. No investor is going to turn him down for wearing a hoodie.
This is like complaining about Steve Jobs going into meetings with jeans and tennis shoes. |

Maybe Zuckerberg would like to send the message that he can wear whatever the f* he wants and if you don't want to do business with him it's your loss.

Innovators can wear whatever the fuck they want, it was their outside-the-box thinking that got them to where they are, not because they prescribed to some norm of dress or thinking. |

Yeah he doesn't give a fuck....about your artificial need for dressing in suits to be taken seriously.
Way to go, Z. |

Right, which is why it makes sense that investors would look at Zuckerberg really weirdly if he shows up at New York offices in a hoodie. I don't give a crap what Zuckerberg does, but it isn't terribly difficult to dress appropriately for the occasion. I think it shows arrogance (earned arrogance to be sure) more than immaturity though.

You only dress to impress if you care about impressing someone. Facebook makes a shitton of cash, and ultimately, that's what investors care about more than anything else.
When you a make a billion-dollar purchase for a company you're not even going to integrate into your core brand, you've clearly got enough capital to not give a shit about suits. |

Zuckerberg is the cockiest billionaire on the planet. With the type of money he's worth though I doubt he cares what Michael Pachter or any of us think of him.
Anyway I hope Facebook continues to buy shitty companies for a billion dollars and runs out of money and needs to be bailed out by that idiot Obama. I mean look at the car industry bailout turned out. lol democrats |
