Dude relax, Nothing happened cause this was only the winter break. We still have the rest of the season next summer for Michael to put one between Anson's eyes. |

Ha, what a total waste of his appearance. I'm guessing someone saw him in The Expendables and said "Hey! We should have him here too!"
I'm glad they didn't go through with Michael burning people. He did it once (although not on purpose) with Jesse and that would have been pretty much character assassination if he did that. Honestly, I'm surprised they took it as far as him putting the chip in the computer and loading it. Seems odd to me how willing everyone was to give up in this episode too and even odder that Fiona and Sam wouldn't think about stuff like the explosives being tracked. |

Wasn't as great as last seasons finale battle at the hotel. Especially since they aired it with the Brennan/Larry penultimate episode and made it seem like a two-part finale. And it didn't have the hook of Michael being welcomed back into the contrasting snowy D.C.
Would have been fun if Michael refused to burn the others and there was no mole revealed in the group. Then Anson burned the CIA people anyway setting up Michael as having done it and Fi still turned herself in. Who even expects the Fi in jail thing to last longer than the old LAPD detective who totally knows everything about Michael's antics "plot" from season three? |

I agree it was a bit lackluster and I was accustomed to awesome crazy finales when it comes to BN. I sure hope they don't half ass it next season and get Fi out in like a few episodes but do something cool with it. Anson is great but yeah, he's getting kind of stale. It was entertaining but yeah, I felt it needed a bit more to it.
And so now, we wait. |

Actually, he did fuck with the CIA so I suppose he potentially has something over him. |

No more than three episodes I assume. Throw out the premiere since you get to establish Fi in jail, then you can do one more episode where Michael is focused on it but Sam and Jesse have a client, and then in the third episode you do another client and the plot to bring Fi back.

I thought he was hilarious to look at. Its as if they intentionally tried to create some kind of rat-human mutant as Michael's nemesis. Plus he was a little too "I've thought of everything so don't try to jump ahead to the season finale until I'm ready" for my taste.

1.) I didn't mind the season finale; I was getting sick of the villain escalations and Anson is probably the series' most interesting villains, so I'm glad they kept them.
2.) Looking up the actress that plays Beatriz: her entire acting career currently involves Burn Notice; bonus points for some of those glamour shots on IMDB; wowzers |

It wasn't that great, but so has the recent story arc. I don't mind a tough villain, but I would prefer if it played out more like a tug-o-war, where Michael wins once, then maybe Anson wins the next round. So far, Micheal & co. is just getting their ass handed to them, and it's not so fun to watch really.

Pretty decent finale, bit of a cheesy ending but I like where things are heading. And if the next season has more Kristanna Loken, all the better! |

Finale was fine by me, but next season should concentrate on the complete dismantling of the burn notice network. Will be interesting to see where the season begins. |

Even the updated current version is pretty bad. Direct link to watch them. |

Its shoestring budget makes it feel like I'm watching the same show over and over. But I can't help not watch. I love Maddie.

Where's the "Just dub over Finoa's Irish accent line and keep the old opening" bit? It's classic! "My name is Micheal Westen. I used to be a spy until..." Geez, I can recite the opening by memory. :/ Edit: Okay, the new opening is less jarring in terms of video output. Slap Micheal's opening lines in and we'd be golden I guess but I'd still rather keep the original opening, Finoa's Irish Accent and all. :| |

The opening now is great because A) it tells a nice story, B) it's a great theme, C) it's "light" and "fluffy" like the show and D) after five seasons why just not keep it because it's so established?
Changing it for no good reason. But if the show still rocks who really cares. |

What is this called again, a Morton's Fork? Both choices are bad. But the new one is definitely the worst.
