In stark contrast with P2 I'm 2 trophies away from platinum in Plants vs. Zombies. The grind will be in full session because I still need to collect some plants for the garden (Enlightened trophy) and the long ass 40 flag trophy. For the guys who platted already, did you use the strategy on ps3trophies.org for the 40 flag endless wave or did you use your own strategy/setup? Good to know that stuff in advance before I waste 3 hours... :)

I used the strategy on PS3Trophies.org and had no issues. I think theres a few strategies on there but following one of the strategies I was able to go through all 40 rounds with no issues on my second try. Take a look at the psn PvZ threads rather than the vita thread for more strategies.

I managed to miss Deathly Hallows Part 1 and have the Platinum for Half-Blood Prince and Deathly Hallows Part 2 some how.
But yea, the controls in the games are a bit janky and aren't quite as responsive as you would like them to be in the middle of trying to do a challenge, they are usually more of a time sink for something simple than hard though.

Platinum'd Tron Evolution and Sly 1.

Sly 1 is obviously easy. Tron takes 2-3 playthroughs which gets tedious, but nothing too bad about it, it's pretty short. It's also a decent game, but you probably have to like Tron.

There are a fair amount of people playing online (mostly lightcycle deathmatch stuff it seems), though I had to wait a little while to get players for one particular mode.

Luckily the online trophies don't require grinding, it's just "Win a round of X mode."

Nice! Not sure why but I really enjoyed the game when I played it on 360. Haven't gotten around to playing it on PS3 but always wanted to platinum it for some reason.

Pretty easy platinum and the game with a friend was solid fun. Though every time we got stuck on a puzzle we could pretty much just use the wizard and float each other across with a levitating box.

Think i will try for a few mins every day and maybe hopefully it will happen. Disgaea intimidates me a bit but i am getting more accustomed to it.

My current trophy progress is that I'm at 80% in both Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory and Resistance 3. R3 just has a Superhuman playthrough and a couple of the dumb weapon/kill trophies left. While Chaos Theory has finishing it on Extreme (halfway there at the moment) and then Hard with less than 5 deaths left. I should hopefully get the latter this weekend, while R3 will probably be a slower grind.

Oh and it seems like jetsetfluken just started from scratch, throwing away his level 26 account and its 63 platinums. Brave guy.

I dunno, I'd probably say Pandora Tomorrow is the easiest, as it's relatively short, only requires two playthroughs, doesn't have too many grindy trophies, doesn't really have any forced encounters and doesn't prevent you from killing enemies (unless you trigger an alarm). Only real problem is backing up your save to get the no deaths trophy but there are really only a couple of missions that gave me trouble anyway (the ones with mines and trip wires). But Chaos Theory is pretty easy as well, yeah, and has the benefit of being a far better port than the other two, so no buggy trophies.

Do you know how they balanced co-op in R3? I'm just wondering how well I'll do solo, since there were a couple of bits we had trouble with.

Agree on P4G, I really can't wait for it. I bought the PS2 version but never had the time to play it, so I'm loving the idea of playing it with more content and trophies.

Don't fool yourself. Trophies don't define you as so-called hardcore or casual. It might to some people but numbers and plats hide the fact that most of the games they completed are considered 'casual' or 'baby games'.

I'm way more impressed with a Dynasty Warriors/Musou or Gran Turismo plat than someone with 100 plats consisting of Hannahs, Pixars and Dreamworks :D

Sure, during the rest of the year i will go for a platinum if i REALLY REALLY enjoy the game and there's not a lot coming out that month. FFXIII's platinum was so boring... farming long gui's to get trapezsomethings... ugh. Then, I got a platinum for FFXIII-2 last Sunday and I was like "is that it?". Sooooo much easier.

I really didnt find it that hard. To start with it is as its too easy to accidently press the back touchpad. But you get used to it.

There was probably 3 levels that seemed impossible to 3 star that 1 less gesture made all the difference.

Almost done with challenge mode.
5 deaths so far and im in the dump part 2.

So easy now havent got to worry about 3 satr although most of the levels have been anyway.
Really short game too once you know exactly what to do lol
