I think what he says publicly about a competitor's product holds far less weight than what he admits to someone semi-privately. Even if it is Pachter.
Whilst online passes are a load of bollocks, most publishers seem to think it strikes the right balance, so I don't think we'll be seeing a move from that which risks unnecessarily upsetting their customers. |

Online passes doesnt block used game sales. It just mean that you have to pay $10 if you want the online part. Blocking used games, like many PC games does, that is on a very different level.
