Too Much Chewing Gum and other Repeated Dreams
#1
Last night I once again had a portion of my dream reserved for the task of removing an excess amount of bubblegum from my mouth. This only lasts for a minute but has occured many times over the course of the last few months.
Not especially looking for an explanation, wondering if there are other dreams out there that are being repeated besides this one. Do not bother to post if you cannot recall your dreams thank you. |

I keep dreaming about losing my teeth. And then I do ridiculous stuff like, putting them back in. It doesn't hurt, I just do it. But then they get loose again after I bite something.
It gets creepy when I have a loose tooth, and I pull it. Along with it comes the nerve. One time in particular, my molar had a nerve so long I felt it "coming" from my throat. Arhajrhajekhrakjwehrakjwh~ |

Dude! I too have a repeating dream about having way too much bubble gum in my mouth, and I keep pulling it out in little chunks but its all stuck in between my teeth and up in my gums and I can never get it fully out! It kind of makes me gag at the time and I can't seem to talk or do anything other than try to get all this tasteless gum out of my mouth.

I had teeth dreams all the time. Pulling them, breaking them etc...
Come to find out I was destroying them nightly by grinding the fuck out of them. The last straw before I got a mouth guard (and a ton of dental work!), and I shit you not, I broke off my eye tooth..placed it on my pillow and went back to sleep.. |

My most common dreams involve either funding money on the ground or having "too many pets".
i.e. I'll discover pets in my room that I forgot I had, and they'll be all emaciated and on death's door. That, or one of my pets will have a shit ton of babies and I'll fret about what I'm going to do with them all. |

I have a recurring nightmare where for whatever reason I have to go back to basic training. It's not actually me being at basic training, but just me being filled with the dread of having to go back. The closest I've come to actually being in basic training in my dream is reception (where you go to be in-processed). Then I wake up with the same feelings of dread.

Crocodiles, every other week I seem to have a dream about them eating someone. Gotten to the point I don't really get bothered by them, had one dream where I was jumping from one to the other.
The other day I had a dream about some giant croc that was eating another crocodile, I ended up smashing its head to pieces with a chain. Good dream. |

I used to have tons of those. They mean you feel out of control in life. Tornados represent chaos. I used to have recurring dreams of going back to school and/or getting lost in a mall. Actually think I had a 'back in school' dream just last night. Yeah I did. Other than that lately I've had parts of dreams where I eat something gross like shit and I gag and wake up a bit in real life feeling nauseous. I think it's because I've been laying on my stomach too much. |

Since February, I've dreamt at least four times that it is finals week and I realize that I've forgotten that I enrolled in x class at the beginning of the semester. I only went to the first couple class sessions and then completely forgot about it. As a result, I missed all the tests and know none of the material. There's nothing I can really do about it because I've already failed by missing the previous tests, so I just pace around in extreme anxiety until I wake up.

I have at least three college dreams a week. I always end up being really really late for class, so I just skip it. In my dreams it's usually the second or third week of school and there are some classes I have yet to go to and don't even have books for.
Why? Obviously because I dropped out of college twice when I was 18, then 19 and have been dreaming of going back in the last 15 years, but because my GPA dropped so low due to the dropouts, I can't get financial aid. So my subconcious keeps reminding me that I'm a failure and I will never graduate college. |

Also, I have had those teeth dreams as well. I read somewhere once that it has to do with money problems? I dunno but I had these dreams myself as well and for me it was exactly that. |

Thank you for most all of the replies. Just noticed there had been 777 views, did not have the gum dream last night, if anyone just wants to post strange dreams that have not necessarily recurred that would be fine too.
Right before I woke up today was walking around an unspecified airport looking for the bathroom. When I found it there were large '1.00' signs above the spinning doors. I had a dollar but never got a chance to use it, also for some odd reason I had a large bag of contraband and was concerned that it should be hidden or put in a locker. |

Other dreams I've had many times (I've probably posted them in 20 different dream threads): - I find a set of new rooms in my apartment. They're always dusty and run-down, and I start to worry about how much it will cost to fix them up. - I find an entrance in my bathroom to a super-scary, dark, endless bathroom-labyrinth. It's full of showerheads that randomly turn on, everything echoes, and there are horrifying dark corners everywhere. - I find entrances to endless dark corridors other places in my apartment. These corridors lead to rooms where dozens of broken tvs are piled up. - I run downhill, and go faster and faster, and can't stop, and soon go so fast that my feet leave the ground and I just fly down the hill uncontrollably. - Have to take an exam. Only have five minutes before it starts, but I park very far away from the school. So I have to run like crazy to get there. - I buy groceries at night. - I go to the gym to train in the middle of the night. There are lots of strange machines all over the gym (once, but only once, Michael Jackson squatted in a smith machine). There's an enormous hall in the basement filled with hundreds of toilets, and the floor is full of piss. - I travel a long way by car, and stop for a meal at a small cottage up in a mountain somewhere. Two older people run it, and their cute daughter serves the food. - I run around shooting people. - Somebody comes in at work and buys a bunch of old games. - I walk around a big city trying to find somewhere to eat in the evening. Later, we go there and eat. And on, and on, and on... I have lots of recurring dreams.

Once or twice a week, I'll have a dream where I'm invited alongside all of my friends to attend an event or some sort of party that takes place inside of an absolutely massive castle with a modern interior, or on an insanely large island (or a chain of large islands). They always start off fine and dandy, but then they end with me trying desperately to run away from everyone as they all hunt me down for something I did. I never know WHY I'm being chased, but suddenly things will turn extremely hostile and I'll know that they're all after me. The worst part is that when I try to run my legs feel as though they are underwater, and I panic. It's a horrible feeling, and when I wake up my legs will always have a very strange tingling sensation running throughout them and I'll wonder why I can't run. The only way to make it go away is to run to make sure my legs work.
