Okay, I laughed out loud at this one, its this thread of confessions and then this random plea for help.

I can't mock him. I changed my password one time because I was scared of getting hacked. The next day I forgot it. I had been using the same password for both GAF and my mail for years, so I tried different variants but kept getting locked out.

So I tried to get my password reset, but the email address attached to my account was almost 7 years old. Since GAF required you to have a personal email account and not a "free" one, and I had no access to those type of accounts, I had to have a friend give me an email address on her record label's website. Well, that site was destroyed years later and the email address attached to my account was in the void.

I was out for 11 months.

I tried asking guys on the GAF Steam thread, on the Facebook page, on the Goodreads page, PMed a couple guys who I knew were GAFfers over at Something Awful, and no one would help. I think there was a certain stigma, like if you can't remember your password maybe you're not who you think you are, but honestly I think people felt like maybe I did something horrible and they were worried that I was going to get them banned for helping me. And a banning on NeoGAF isn't worth helping a brother out. lol

Eventually I was lurking and I suddenly remembered that I had m0dus's email address from the SPREAD project. After 11 months I got an email back from him on Christmas Day that Evil had reset my password and set my email as my Gmail account. I think I sent him like 5000 thank yous.

So I'm 19 and I'm in love with a 15 year old. I hate it. If I had known she was 15 from the start I would have never messaged her, we met on a pseudo dating website where it said she was 17. I foolishly kept talking to her even after she mentioned she was 15, I thought that nothing would come out of it since she was 15. We talk pretty at least an hour pretty much everyday. Just about how our days went, stuff about ourselves, and random other things. She keeps toe to toe with all my wit and jokes, which is rare among any people I meet, older or younger. She generally gets my sense of humor and seems to even like me when I'm just being me. We just seem to have great chemistry, something I've never experienced before. If I were to scar or influence her negatively because I pursued my own interests over her's, I would never be able to live with myself. My fear over Devo's ban is that other female posters won't speak up as much...but Devo was almost furiously angry, ready to snap at any time for any thing. GAF is fair about letting people speak their mind, just not becoming malevolant about it.
