To repair a vehicle, you also need the parts. For example, if you're fixing a car, there are four points of repair: hull, fuel, engine, and wheels. You'll need scrap metal, fuel tank parts, engine parts, and car tires, respectively and to repair you just use the scroll-wheel context menu and it'll pop up there.

Damn, I forgot to take pictures of what just happened. I really need to make a habit of doing that in the future.
Me and a friend walked around on a pitch black server. We had no flares or any kind of light source other than a fireplace; but, making a fireplace isn't exactly easy all the time. We managed to stumble through the darkness by following some power lines. Eventually we ended up near a warehouse. I put up a fire and we checked out the place. Inside was a broken bus, and some parts were lying in a container outside. While we were shooting some zombies around the warehouse, I heard a helicopter approaching. It's probably very unlikely that guys flying around in a helicopter are friendlies, so we tried to hide, but they managed to spot me and started shooting. Thankfully they didn't hit any of us, and after a few passes over the warehouse they decided to fly away. Afterwards some guy asked who the guys with a fireplace outside a warehouse were. He was talking about how we got the shit shot out of us, and how we ran for our lives. Oh well, with those guys gone we tried to start repairing the bus. But, for some unknown reason, it exploded, or whatever the hell happened, and it was on fire. Damn shame we couldn't get it repaired. I still haven't gotten a vehicle up and running yet, so it would have been pretty cool to finally try one out. |

And Arma II+Arrowhead is a fine, fine MP game. Super fun really but more hardcore than BF. |

![]() Forgot to have FRAPS running, so I was mindlessly pounding f12 during this adventure. Daylight! I head north, to the haven of Stary. Through trees I run. Stopping to check behind, weary of stalkers. A survivor runs down a road as I pause in the trees. It's metal! Also on his way to Stary. We meet with others including gibs, MOB. Gibs leads me to a dead survivor. Armed with an M-16A2. The prospect of using a rifle other than to scout or kill bandits... I part with my heirloom rifle. It has served me well, cutting down bandits. Our group has run of Stary. No dead to dispatch. No man dare show their face. I run with three bandits now. Two other survivors. We raid the airport. My A2 is traded for an M4 with sight. No more iron sights for me. The outskirts of the airport will make due with home for a rest. ![]() After rest, night is once more here. This was once the time I flourished. Obscured by the dark. But now the dark envelops. Oppresses. Near impossible to cut through. No moon greets me. ![]() Even with chemlight, MOB is all I can see. We are joined by Mr. Wizzard. ![]() We travel to Grishino. Others promise to join us. We set up camp outside of town, chemlight allowing us to see about twenty feet around us. Suddenly north, south, and east are full of the shambling dead. Wandering towards us. We retreat further into the fields. I've heard others speak of the dead wailing as never before. I hear...nothing. The unknown terror takes a hold of me. ![]() I, now panicked at the numbers of dead. Mob surveying the night. I keep my rifle trained on the horizons. ![]() ![]() GAFFERs approach. I can see them clearly in the south of town, illuminated by flares. Seemingly safe from the dead. Then comes the unmistakeable piercing of a flashlight through the night. Bright and true. As I watch, the dead swarm. Dozens converge. We shout warnings. Unable to tell who can outrun, and who parishes. More than we three could handle without being surrounded ourselves. ![]() This is my night, full of dread and anxiety. Unable to bring myself to approach another town. The dead rule the night. Our gains fleeting. ![]() But another day survived. ![]() Believe in Survival: Part 1: Last Night's Adventures Part 2: Adventuring Part 3: Rainy Night, Deaths Galore Part 4: Blood feuds Part 5: Stalkers Part 6: A Calm Night

Means they are going to make a stand alone version, which is pretty obvious. Even after the clear sales boost, it hit 4.25k concurrent users on Steam Yesterday. I've been keeping track of it every few days and it basically went from another few hundred at most. To one of the more played titles. If they play their cards right, they could have another Mount and Blade Warband or Killing Floor. The title has the interest and there isn't much like it. A well done stand alone version for maybe 20$ could be a big hit and keep people coming back for years. |

Apparently the US Hardcore servers support the JSRS mod. It's a reworking of all sounds, guns, creatures, footsteps etc.
http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=11549 Check out some of the sounds here. The guns sound mean. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TvHAd...ayer_embedded#! |

Combined Ops at number 2... and Operation Arrowhead number 10 on Steam. Just now. This is getting ridiculous, assuming that when something is so high on the Steam chart it must be selling a lot. Unique players number is still only just above 43 thousand on DayZ website, though.

Anyone know with the Day Z installation (I'm going through steam with the launch option for Day Z added), do I need to go back and delete that launch option to play regular Arma 2? Not that I will any time soon, hah! I could just try it I suppose, but would like to know.

http://forums.greenmangaming.com/topic/291/ Hope it gets resolved soon. Why allow me to purchase a game they don't have a key for? |
