So, all levels are randomly generated? It looks like a complete mess, with no logic to the layout of the levels. The reason ultra hard performers are fun is the satisfaction learning the levels, and overcoming a challenge that at first seemed impossible. With no goals, no progression, and no end to the game, I don't see how this will be fun at all.
I love Super Meat Boy, the Jumper series, Battletoads, Battle Kid, and even I Wanna Be The Guy. But this looks like more like an endless torture generator than a game. |

As far as I can tell, there are so few games on Vita that whenever any game is mentioned, starved gamers desperately crawl into the thread on hands and knees, begging for a Vita port to offer them just a few minutes more sustenance before they inevitably waste away at the sheer lack of games available to them.
It's all rather sad, really. |

Super Meat Boy was my GOTY 2010 and is my second favorite platformer (behind the immaculate Yoshi's Island) but I think this game just looks like a mess. It takes artistry to make a difficult platformer fun, not just masses of junk thrown all over the screen.
I won't write the game off entirely but I'm honestly not impressed with what's shown here. |

Latest update, and Wii U is an option. Don't actually need to shift money for it, it fits into the same brackets.

Fake Edit: Not sure if they count as true platformers, but Cave Story and Spelunky are probably the only fair yet challenging indie platformers I remember playing. |

when it showed all the replays together it reminded me of transformice:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GJReZRji7tg except in transformice its funny when everyone dies and the shaman can help everyone (if they want to). this game just looks frustrating. |

I was looking at their Kickstarter page and... guess what? They're promising Wii U download codes for backers who would also get Steam keys (you have to choose between the two versions, though):

Fake edit: I see someone mentioned it earlier, but hey, since no one seemed to notice it I guess I'll post this anyway. |

Yeah, it passed it by a few thousand.
And there's a bunch of videos people uploaded from the beta on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/results?searc...%2C+this+month |

If only there was some way to check, alas, it appears to be literally impossible, we may never, ever know. Oh, Lord, why are you so cruel to withhold from us such information as whether a game met its Kickstarter goal?
Or, you could just click the Kickstarter link in the first post of this thread. Yes, it did. |

Do you reckon this one is harder than Lost levels, Megaman, Ninja gaiden, that other weird SNES Mario game/mod I can't recall the name of, Battletoads, etc.?
From the look of it it doesn't seem tougher than other stuff I've seen over the internet, it's only visually very messy with the screen packed of stuff. |
