There's no caning for driving offenses, caning as a punishment is usually met out to cases pertaining to, gangsterism, drugs, rioting, vandalism, rape and such

Absolute moron, such a shame he took out innocent lives along with his own, he turned that ferrari into a missile. Driving a car while drunk is one of the most foolish, dangerous and selfish acts there is and to this day I will never understand why people do it.

And I'm really annoyed by all the xenophobic crap by the people there. Are rich business executives from Singapore less likely to drink and drive in their million dollar supercar than rich business executives from China? Is there a study for that? Whats their problem with the Chinese? |

I think this writeup reflects how many Singaporeans feel about PRCs(aka China Chinese) and some of the reasons why this people react in this manner towards this particular incident. http://www.facebook.com/notes/hawk-c...68844529841068 I do not particularly agree with his every point (like how he says we accept foreigners from other countries with no discrimination unless they're from China) but he does offer some good anecdotes.
