I've had a black widow on my desk for the past several weeks. We've been feeding it bigger and bigger things to see what its limits are. So far it has triumphed over a stink bug, three scorpions (at once), and two very large wolf spiders.
I'm starting to question my own ability to kill it when the time comes. |

It got super fat. Then one day I couldn't find it. A few weeks later I found it with a massive egg sack. It was multiplying! so unless you want 500 mini black widows soon, I would do something about relocation. |

*legs in the air, dancing* "Haven't seen you here before. You have great eyes, all of them, but everyone probably tells you that. It's true, just don't want to be that spider. Trying to be honest. Look, we're all leaving in a few and my web is a little fucked up at the moment, but AHHHHHHHHHH" |

I was disgusted by it until we threw the scorpions in there. Those bitches are smart! She went straight for the biggest one and spun webbing around its stinger to keep it from striking her. Then she repeated this process with the other two. Once she was done it was as simple as bite, bite, bite. I wish I had videotaped it. |

Yeah, it really was. They still put up a fight, though. One of them, even after being wrapped up and bit, still managed to grab one of her legs in its pincer. She just calmly waited for her venom to do its job, and when the scorpions grip went slack, she got back to business.
