I have three Ascend Acoustics Sierra-1 reference monitors in front and two CBM-170 SEs for surround, denon receiver, full array local dimming LCD. For what reason exactly would you be talking shit about my home theater setup ;b

Not bad, not bad but for music you could do a lot better. Firstly, a dedicated stereo set-up is a must. I'm talking brands such as Naim, Manley Audio Labs, Audio Research, Focal, Spendor, Rega, etc. Music through a proper stereo (especially with a good turntable for vinyl) is a transformative experience.

Fair enough (and this will be my last post on the subject as I don't want to take this thread off topic) but before you write-off the idea completely visit a reputable hi-fi shop and take a couple of your favorite albums with you for a listen. There's a good chance you'll rediscover your music and will want the chance to relive that feeling at home every time you play a track. I've worked in the hi-fi industry for years and many people have walked in skeptical but have left grinning ear-to-ear.

Music is a beautiful thing and a good hi-fi gets you closer to the music.

Wait, you can get that much progress in only 3 months of pushups? From what I've read you barely see any changes in the first 6 months of work-out.

Mahonay: same question as Izick + what was your diet in the past 3 months?

Alright, so some people want to know what my regiment is.

Here's the picture I posted originally a couple weeks ago.

That eventually paid off and I got my arms to what you see in that picture.

TLDR; I did pushups like a crazy man.

Since then I've gotten a pair of 15lb dumbbells, and a pair of 25lb dumbbells when I'm feeling ridiculous. Nothing too elaborate, some basic exercises. Same deal, when ever I'm home and I see the weights, I just pump out some reps quickly. The key is to stay on top of it and just get used to making it part of your routine.

Keep in mind some may to do more than that to see results, using gym equipment and such, I just have a compact slender body that builds muscle very quickly. The only dietary changed I've made is a daily multivitamin pill, eating more fruits and veggies, and cutting out soda almost entirely from my diet.

I saw progress after one month.

Also I am trying to eat more often. Which is helping me get bigger at the same time.

Nope. It was more of a "I want to have muscles again" agenda, haha. No specific goals. Maybe I'll measure in the coming week just to see. I've made some progress even from that picture with weights introduced.

I will say when I measure you'll realize how small of a dude I am, hahah. Only 5'6". I'm 150 right now and this is the heaviest I've ever been in my life. 150 should be about normal weight for my size but that's me bulked up.

Maybe try spreading them out through out the day. Doing 50 at a time certainly wouldn't work out for me very well I don't think. Try doing 20 or 30 at two different times of the day spread out from each other. See what that does.

I'm definitely not a pushup expert. My body just seems to respond well to them.

I read that any progress you see after two months is imaginary. I guess that wasn't true. Well, at least that should get me to start working out :p

How long does it usually take for other people to see that you've been working out?

Also, make sure that you have good form when doing pushups, that is always key.
