I can honestly say I've never seen anyone hating on Will Smith. Maybe one of his movie roles (people calling Hancock terrible or whatever) but nobody seems to hate on Smith himself. He's the most bankable actor in Hollywood and also seems very down to earth. Even just the other day when the media tried to create a controversy with the "Will Smith Attacks Reporter" stuff, everyone was on his side.

Amazon had both the previous films on blu ray for $13 so I bit. Been probably a decade since I've seen either film. Don't think I ever saw MiB 2 after the theaters.

From the other thread - all that surgery caught up to her. I think her face is not solid anymore.

The movie's plot is basically a ripoff of an episode from the Men in Black animated series. I doubt it'll be nearly as good though.

I wish they would have just left Tommy Lee Jones' character alone. Let him live happily ever after with his wife ffs. MiB 2 should have been Will Smith and the morgue woman going on adventures instead of whatever the fuck it was about.

And the PS2 DualShock controller in the flying car. Sony is the absolute worst when it comes to product placement.

Also, I just read a brief synopsis for the MiB comic books, and it kinda sounds like a faithful adaptation of it would be pretty cool. I love the idea of the MiB being a nefarious rogue government group that wants to control the world.

Yeah I read in Empire's review that TMJ seems like he doesn't want to be in the movie at all. Very tired, drab performance. Then again, apparently he's only in the entire movie for about 15 minutes

TLJ hated her. HATED. Farentino had a horrible rep though. Kevin Smith hated working with her on Dogma.

She was so fine in MIB though...

So it's getting good reviews? That's surprising since they basically wrote Tommy Lee Jones out of the film by having it set in the past.

Kevin Smith is one of the easiest Directors to get along with. If he hates working with you, then you must be a genuine asshole. His Bruce Willis stories are fucking great.

Where could I see/read those? And I'm also very interested in hearing why Fiorentino is so reviled? I really liked her in both MIB and Dogma, and then *poof* she was off the radar completely.

I hope she brings more to this role than she did in The Raven. God she was so terrible in that. Her movie choice is humorous as of late since she dropped out of X-Men First Class due to a poor script.

The worst part about Jones being brought back for the sequel is that it undid the poignant ending of the first movie.

Just like the galaxy in MiB was small enough to fit on the cat's collar, ours was just a marble along with other galaxies on an alien world.
