At least it should be like that, the pass is for Elite rather than each game. |

I haven't seen anything that says your subscription wouldn't carry over to BO2, the FAQ says it will. |

As mentioned above, it specifically says access to MW3 content during the 9 month season of content.
So even if your subscription carries into Black Ops II's release, it doesn't automatically mean you get Black Ops II DLC, but you will probably (although don't quote me on this) still have access to the other Premium features until your sub runs out (Elite TV, etc). |

Because I haven't had much time to check them lately. I've said if people PM me to let me know of upcoming ones, I'll make sure to get us in.
Enrolling now, but in the future, if someone wants to let me know, feel free. Edit: Actually, I don't see any.

Since this game came out I always felt the previous two games were superior, last week I actually tried playing MW2 and BLOPS, god damn I was frustrated. MW2 still has nootubers with danger close running around (strangely enough there was an update to that game when I booted it up) and BLOPS was fucking boring, even in ground war I had to look for some action...it was too slow and boring. And of course the net code is broken.
Sad to say MW3 is a better entry of the past three games. |

I'm of the same opinion too... if only for the fact that the frequency of air support in MW3 is far less than what I would normally encounter in MW2. BlackOps took things to the opposite extreme, felt like a lot of things were toned down which made for a less exciting game. The developers have reached a good compromise with MW3 imo

Nice to see all maps in rotation for Infected finally.

Still playing this game pretty consistently since launch.
MW3 is a strange game. They got a lot of things right when developing this game... - Unique and interesting perks. - Toned down explosives (though if anything MW3 might be a tad conservative with explosives). - Pointstreak system - Interesting killstreak rewards - Speed and fluidity of gameplay ...which are all crucial elements of any CoD game. But a few key errors really hurt it. Firstly, the maps. Variety is not the issue here but rather size and spawn points. Revenge spawns are the worst and MW3 only compounds the issue with its tiny maps. The spawns aren't nearly as bad now as they were at launch, but they're still rather terrible. Secondly, weapon balance. This is less to do with overpowered guns (and after patches there are decidely few) but rather that there's simply not enough of an imperative to use a variety of guns. Essentially it boils down to ACR or MP7, depending on the map. Yes, other weapons are good too but what's the point when these two are clearly the best guns in the game? And it's not that they're overpowered - they're perfect - but rather the other guns don't have enough strengths or unique features to warrant choosing them instead. This issue isn't unique to MW3 but it shouldn't remain in the series after so many iterations. Thirdly, respawn armour. I understand its implementation, but the problem is that air support is so ridiculously easy to destroy in this game that - assuming you're playing against a half-decent team - respawn armour means your air support is usually downed after mere seconds. Either make air support harder to take down, or get rid of respawn armour. Fourth, stealth bombers. No more needs to be said. Fifth, assassin. It's becoming more and more obvious that cold-blooded/ghost/assassin needs to be either changed or gotten rid of. On paper assassin appears weaker than ghost given ghost is essentially blind eye + assassin, but assassin pro is just ridiculous. There's also no counter to assassin, unlike in BO with the blackbird. Moreover, with UAVs so easy to acquire through the support package, assassin becomes a near necessity in MW3 and is only slightly offset by the brilliance of hardline pro. Either make UAVs more powerful or get rid of assassin. The game would be much better for it (and more challenging too, which would only be a positive). I could keep going but it's just a shame that some poor design decisions really impact on what it otherwise probably the most balanced CoD to date. The pointstreak system in particular is fantastic and I would love to see it fleshed out in BO2. If BO2 can take BO's map design, MW3's speed and poinstreak system, and revitalise the perk system then we should be golden. |

Recon I'll give you. In fact I love the idea of this perk, except once again it's rendered inferior to Blind Eye. But Blind Eye isn't heads and shoulders above other Tier 1 perks, whereas the same probably can't be said for Assassin (though Hardline is also excellent). But for those going for high-end killstreaks in open maps it's almost a necessity. On a side note, I really dislike how Assassin Pro inhibits Marksman. Marksman is a wonderful perk and almost side-by-side with Stalker, and for some weapons is superior. Assassin Pro simply counters way too much (I didn't even mentioned EMPs and CUAVs - heck, not even AUAVs do anything to it). Before Black Ops, the solution to Assassin was having Stopping Power (and in the same tier). But that comes with its own issues and is even less desirable. |

Recon is easily the most underrated perk in the game. |

I don't think it is necessarily the best counter to assassin, but it is a counter. I wouldn't really mind removing assassin completely though. It's so overpowered as a perk (especially in MW3 where it does multiple things that are all good) I don't think it is that underrated. When I played S&D for a while almost all my opponents were using Recon. |

I don't play S&D since I'm not in parties as much and when I am, it's mostly Domination and Kill Confirmed. For S&D, it's even more valuable for sure. But I see it much less in the more standard game modes.

TMart shows that you can still get Sitrep Pro easily by destroying your friends NONLETHAL equipment in hardcore.
