So amazing!

Is it possible for anyone to go there? I would love to go there one day to see it with my own eyes.

Are these kinds of shots of the sky enhanced electronically to look like that? Or is that area, an the surrounding area, just completely devoid of man made light that it's possible to see the sky that way at night?

Would love to see a sky like this.

Fairly sure it's special lens and lots of enhanced effects.

Regardless, it's mind-blowing. I really wish our night sky looked like that all the time.

There is some enhancement but if you get far enough away from civilization its amazing what the sky looks like. Like in Northern Arizona where the Vatican has an observatory. The sky is so amazingly clear you can see the milky way quite clearly

Yep. It's so incredible when there's zero light pollution.

Thanks OP. its so easy to get lost in the day to day happenings of our lives, bills, traffic, world events, etc, that we forget what an amazing universe exists all around us. It really is amazing.

I have seen sky with the milky way just like that in the video with naked eyes. You need to be way from any city/town light pollution, the night sky should be clear and moon less, and you need to be at a high altitude location.

I'm jealous. The best I've done is some cornfield in the middle of the midwest. That was glorious, I can't imagine being at a high altitude.

There has to be a place near Vegas where I can go see something like this right? I mean after Vegas it's mostly all desert.

its kind of interesting that we can actually see so much of that gas/nebula type stuff in the sky... thats what makes it seem like someone put pictures into the thing and moved it around.

Really well done. Everyone should try to view this video with the perspective that the earth is moving, the stars and sky is what's stationary. Made me dizzy as hell when I started looking at it like that.

I visited Yellowstone last summer and saw the sky like this. As someone who's lived in cities and suburbs my entire life, it was awe inspiring. Awesome video, thanks.

Death Valley is near enough to Vegas that you can make the 1-2 hour drive yet far enough away that the casino lights won't interfere.

I had a close look frame by frame, it's a meteor entering the atmosphere and then disintegrating.

There are dark skies maps for people wanting to get the best view of things.

I took this photo in a dark, but not completely dark, area, still with some light pollution. Even in areas with light pollution, you can still make out the Milky Way, if you know where you are looking (and there is no moon light, which is key to it all really)
