If it's any consolation the jump has been tweeked a bit.

Sounds like this'll be the game I wanted the PSP one to be.

Playing in cool user generated levels with 3 friends was a blast back on the PS3.

I'm in, day one.

I know i've said it before but this really might be the ultimate version of LBP. Touchscreen and inbuilt camera will make level/sticker creation a much better experience and the ability to download/upload levels using 3G is just glorious.

One thing I noticed is that the levels seem to be limited to 2 layers. If it makes the game run as smooth as LBP2 I'm all for it.

I'm amazed at how close this looks to the PS3 version.

Seems incredibly solid.

So some LBP GAF designers work for Tarsier now?

Am I going to be able to download levels through LBP2 and then transfer them to LBP Vita? My wireless at home is really dodgy but I have my PS3 all cabled up.

How is it possible for this to look almost PS3 level? (IMO)

It pretty much looks exactly like LBP2, which was a technical showpiece in and of itself.

I think this is going to be a better platform for games than LBP2. The ability to draw your levels via the touch screen is a breakthrough. And being able to take it with you is a big change. Making an LBP level usually means sitting at your couch tweaking virtual sliders for hours. I might actually make some levels this time.

And lets not even forget about the fact that the little big planet gameplay is very much a short burst or long play hours kind of game. You can easily do both.

Platformers are definitely better for handhelds nowadays (well, IMO). I'm much more interested in playing this game on a handheld.

I can't think of anything in LBP2 they haven't shown. Move support obviously. They've added front/back touch and gyro controls. And it should be cool that every Vita has a camera. You'll get more customized textures in levels.

Ha i just realized that the lbp site has a hint at the story mode here

Quote:
Like moths to a flame, the people of Craftworld are drawn to the mesmerizing lights of a strange new planet that has appeared in the cosmos. The celestial body looms ever closer, and while the Sackfolk are used to a spot of mild peril by now, they don’t know what’s about to hit ’em...
The strange new planet being the one in the cover and here

See, this is why the game needs a proper title and not LittleBigPlanet PS Vita, which implies it's a port of the original.

The official website still mentions "LittleBigPlanet: Unstitched".

Code:
<meta content='LittleBigPlanet, Little Big Planet, LittleBigPlanet: Unstitched, LBP, Vita, PS Vita, PSVita, Sackboy, PlayStation, PS3, PSP, Media Molecule, Sony' name='keywords' />
