I've had cats and dogs in the past, but at the end of the day I can't deny my inner Dog Personness. Cats are a good supplement but just can't replace a good dog. |

Please, PLEASE, tell me what humane atrocity committed by US soldiers you're talking about, because both the pistol execution and napalm attack depicted in the gif were perpetrated by the South Vietnamese.

I hate both IRL, they have enough weaknesses on their own. I'm more interested in the psychology of the pet owners, is it the closest to having a kid? These are huge animals, with their own health bills and needs. You're taking care of another's life. Is it for loners? Does a family need the extra responsibility of a pet, do they use the pet's death as a lesson for the kids to know what life is about? lol
But on the internet, I can see the cuteness.

Wish I'd taken more photos of our three when they were kittens.

Yep, Samoyed. I lived about a mile down a private road when I was a kid and more than once I got the school bus (which didn't go down the road) on a samoyed-powered sled. We had three of them and they were enormous idiots but very lovable dogs.
I think my parents still have pictures of all three of them laying out on the last patch of snow in the yard in springtime. One of them would also sleep under the bird feeder and let birds eat seed that had fallen onto him. Weird dogs. Edit: Also my parents had someone make slippers and whatnot out of their fur. It makes surprisingly good cloth material.

I don't think that's a really fair comparison, since there's no way we're going to domesticate big cats anytime soon.
I mean the food bills alone would make them nonviable pets for all but the richest. |

I like both, though when it comes to cats I may be partial to bengal cats.
My brother has a pair of bengals and they're fucking hilarious. They're just big, lanky cats with awesome colors that act like dogs moreso than cats. Agility? Nah. Balance? Nope. They run and crash into shit because they can't turn fast enough. They routinely fall off of whatever they attempt to balance on. They're goobers. |

Speaking of giffing up videos, can someone also make two gifs from these vids of my dog.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uYeqSksXubs http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UFD50JwZ9xA I guess in both videos it would make the most sense to gif them from 5 seconds in. Thanks to whoever helps out. _______ To contribute ![]() ![]()

so if humans could jump as high as cats, proportionately speaking, how high could the average 6 foot man jump?

Watch video below. Nothing graphic.. but it proves you 100% wrong. FF to 5:08. This changes everything we know of dogs and cats. The fact remains that this is a DOG, and not its close cousin...
