+ Can actually play in 10 minute bursts + Excellent controls (probably best 3rd person/dual stick shooter on a handheld) + Coop works and people are playing it + Mission of the day + The Club-esque scoring system, rewarding refined play + Not really dudebro at all (thank god) despite appearances |

This is pretty common. It's happened to me 3 times now, and quite a few people on here have reported it as well. Hopefully Zipper plan on doing something about it, because it's kind of a big deal.

I'm enjoying the game.
But the AI blows.. I was shooting up a room, a room, I could not get a bead on the last guy left, so I move to the other entrance and there he is with his walking around the room, why is he walking around? Because he decided to ignore his buddies that were laying on the floor and go back to walking his rounds in calmly manner. I think he was whistling. But it is still an enjoyable game and well designed. I wish this was socom 4, at least single player wise. |

Once I was finally able to properly apply the patch (took 4 hard resets of the system), I haven't had a single issue with the game. The game is perfectly designed as an on-the-go shooter, I'm really surprised that Zipper nailed it right out of the gate.

Not even the decency to merge our game modes and maps, no more patches, no more support, nothing. I only bought U13 due to the positive comments from gaf, I originally sworn off zipper games due to how they abandoned the socom community so quickly. |

Us Socom fans are like a battered wife that keeps coming back after all the abuse and somehow find an excuse to say that its us not them and that zipper is just going through a rough period in their life but they love us, just give them time. :( What do you tell a socom fan waiting for updates? Nothing, there is no update. |

Everytime I try another mission I ask myself why I'm not playing this more. It's a very fun game.
The AI is dumb for sure, but it helps me try and perfect a run. Never encountered any bugs that people are taking about. Either I'm lucky or haven't played enough. Maybe 20 missions and a couple dailies? |

Played co op for the first time last night.
it is freaking sweet. If any zipper employees are reading this, a more beefed up Unit 13 is what Socom 4 should have been. The AI is smarter in co op I think too. Question though. Is the game supposed to kill our co op connection after each mission? everytime I hit next after the score tally we got separated and I had to host another game. That can't be right.. Right? |

Damn I just bought an Aus version of this game without even thinking that I use a US PSN on my Vita.
Obviously the game will work, but online won't right? Can I buy the US PSN pass to get that working or will I have to reset my vita and use a AUS account? |

I've bought an Australian copy of the game and was intending to buy a US Online Pass to use with it, but others are telling me that's a no go? |

I'm not able to finish the Wizard objective because of the eternal respawn.
After dozens of deaths, I'm simply skipping the first zone running, but the second one it's still too hard with the continous spawn. I reached the third zone once, and I got killed before killing the target :( Those spawns should be limited or at least checkpoint dependant. I got people spawning just on my back. |

Is it possible to unlock HVT missions without getting to required number of stars?
I can upload my HVT missions after I beat them but I dont ever seem to acquire anything when I search for intel on Near despite having a few friends that play the game. I guess they have to manually upload the mission themselves. I finally completed every mission over the weekend and am now just trying to 5 star it all to complete the HVTs and get all the characters to max level. Hoping to get the platinum. |

Still, the game is great fun and I love the way it feels. Zipper nailed the control scheme and it makes me sad that they got shut down. I've been really motivated to get good at these missions and finish them all and maybe even go for the Platinum Trophy which is very rare for me with a game. |

Got 100% on the solo and HVT missions, had a blast with the game I have to say.
Just need to grind a few characters to level 10 to get the platinum trophy but I won't rush it, will do the daily missions instead. A bit sad that Zipper is no more. I even feel like buying SOCOM 4 now. |

Uh, I am stuck at an early mission. I'm supposed to be taking care of a chemical weapon supply but I keep getting killed by random people because there are so many AI's to kill. Sigh.
You guys. I'm still stuck at this very mission. And there can't just be something obvious that I'm missing right? I keep killing as many as I can, but I always get killed with a grenade when there is somebody left. It must be at least 50 tries now, probably more. Something I'm doing wrong? Edit - used grenades to make it out alive. Thanks GAF!

Yeah, it's worth that. I'd say play it solo for awhile before you decide on the online pass. $20 for the single player content is a no brainer. Co-op is fun but it's kinda hard to set up a game with friends, and playing with randoms is hit or miss, especially considering the fact it dumps you back to the main menu after the end of each match. I don't know if the online portion is worth the extra $10, but the single player is most definitely worth the price you're being offered.

Alrighty then!
Keep in mind the number of the missions are not necessarily ordered by difficulty, so just play something else you have unlocked if you get stuck in a mission or something. I think the controls are much better than Uncharted, although I don't like or use gyro assist. In Uncharted you have to use gyro for fine tuning as the analog stick is worthless for that, but here it works pretty damn well. The hit detection is also much better. |

Necro bump
yep, i'm STILL playing this. Just picked it up again recently in fact Man the HVT Wizard mission is soooo fucked! Is it the only one like this? (infinite respawn room) Still love the game and even though I've purged some shit off recently to Amazon, I can't bring myself to get rid of it (had no problem getting rid of SOCOM4 though lol). Definitely one of my favorite Vita titles |

I got it digitally so I can't get rid of it, but it's zipper swan song so I'd keep it if I were you. It showed that they were still able to craft some very fun games. The game is perfect for a portable, I'd pay to get some substancial DLC with new missions. |
