Trailer I guess we can safely call 2012 the year of the mech with this, Mechwarrior, Hawken, Armored Core and potentially that Kinect Steel Battalion game. |

Would like to see what it actually plays like instead of having floating camera. You can't see anything because there's too many special effects blowing up and distorting to see anything.
Mech games are really fun though. I think with games like World of Tanks blowing up, mech games can become popular again. |

The amount of mech games coming out pleases me greatly.
![]() Big giant robots are cool, and I think once we get into combat situations between two-legged or four-legged things that run around and shoot each other we can safely suspend our disbelief in physics and inertia. I mean, if we really want to get into it, fighting in big robots is probably the most inefficient and tactically terrible way to fight a war, but it's badass so who cares? "Simulatory" mech games are awesome but Gundam can live alongside Mechwarrior, yo. |

I don't think they nailed the balance down right yet, and the weapon selection, power balance and spawn points need some work still. At least on the map they have in the beta. Still looking forward to final release. The graphics are great, the menu music is god-tier, it runs buttery smooth on my low-end machine at max settings, and its a ton of chaotic fun.
