I'll going with a new Tatsunoko. MT Framework we know handles the vs series really well. So there is already resources that can be reused (for the Capcom side). Redo some levels, beef up the rooster by about 12-15 characters then a sequel should maintain a modest dev cost. Additionally we'd have an exclusive fighter for Wii U (and likely 3DS using an updated version of the previous games engine with the added benefits of MT Framework mobile). Though, I'd only expect to see it at the Nintendo conference as part of a 3rd party sizzle reel or logo and maybe some small additional stuff at Capcom's booth and a full unveil at Capcom's Summer Jam or whatever later.
Maybe a XBLA/PSN/NiN re-release JoJo. A new Guilty Gear I think is likely. Also expect new TE sticks for the Wii U |

When they announce SF5 it'll still be like 9 months to a year before it is released (no doubt full of character reveal bullshit). By then the timing will be about right. |

<3 TvC fans
Which is kinda weird, because in the trade shows/arcade showoffs it's one of the top rated games. Then again it was made prior to Gundam Vs Extreme. |

There will be no more MvC3 announcements. Week after week we get reconfirmation that they're putting Marvel on the back burner, which logically makes sense. Let the game breathe. The only MvC3 related thing that is possible is DLC. But even still, Niitsuma's team has moved on to another non-MvC project. Very recently though, they probably don't have much to share. Im not clear on where Marvel-only fighting game rumours began but I still highly doubt it.
SFV is far away. No chance, maybe 2-4 years from now, going by Ono's word. CvS3 isn't happening because SNK won't cooperate. Or some other political nonsense of the sort. Everyone wants TvC2. Nobody will get it. Shonen Jump vs. Capcom is a licensing nightmare and they won't bother. What's NRS up to? For some reason I anticipate an MK Wii U as some sort of bargaining chip to the hardcore by Nintendo. Is the Vita port out yet? My guesses, in order of likelihood: - Likely nothing because we always seem to be wrong when trying to predict this shit. - New Playstation Smash Bros reveals and trailers - New DOA5 trailer and reveals - JoJo's HD. All but confirmed that it exists, and is set to be released this year. - SFxTK DLC. That's not on disc. Will be a #gamechanger. Assuming the old contract is still in place, I doubt we'll see a Super SFxTK. For financial reasons too. - Darkstalkers IV. A teaser, CG. Due 2013 to fill "robust" roadmap Capcom has for FGs. Likely SFxTK team is working on it. - Whatever Ono is working on at Capcom Vancouver - Something new for TKxSF - New Capcom crossover. Likely handled by Niitsuma's team. The wild card. Capcom has a tendency to do some weird things and I feel like whatever the next versus game is, it's gonna be some left field stuff. - UMvC3X - GG revival - Nintendo pretending like Smash 3DS/Wii U is a current thing to show off - Nintendo actually showing off Smash 3DS/Wii U - Nintendo vs. Capcom |

That's just PR bullshit. They're not going to say "Yeah, we royally fucked up with SFXT on so many levels, let me tell ya.". |

Capcom has something planned for EVO but they're not sure what it is yet or the form it will take. Could just be something new for something already announced, like a game at E3.
Announcements at E3 make a lot more sense than ones at EVO. They can just use EVO for more reveals, etc. The media is already expecting DSIV at E3 too. |

For games from SNK, ASW, Examu, etc., new game announcements are almost always revealed at Japanese events or publications. I don't think they do much besides have playable copies of their games and english versions of their trailers. The bigger companies like Capcom, Namco, Nintendo, any non-Japanese dev, and sometimes Tecmo often reveal their stuff at the Western events.

With the recent resurgence of fighting games I'd like to see a brand new fighting game get announced at E3, preferably not tied to an existing game or TV license. Can't really think of who I'd like to see behind it but I want somebody to take that chance. |

Interested in Smash, but i'm satisfied with what's currently on the market for traditional fighters. There's not a single doubt in my mind that they won't show a teaser for Smash like they did for Brawl.
SHOWA TIEM! -edit- I am interested in the Guilty Gear that's coming out, but not really interested in new fighters.

Street Fighter IV with Shinkiro's art style would be day #1 for me. Also sign me up for a new Dark Stalkers!
Edit: And it's probably never going to happen but I've been waiting for Mortal Kombat VS. Street Fighter since it was an April's joke in a magazine in the early 90s. |

While not an anime, KOF13 is a recent release and has very pretty sprite based art style to it and is regarded as a very good and honest fighting game.

GG:XX:TMC:^C:R port to XBLA/PSN (or it/^C being updated before release) since it's now loctests.
Meanwhile: DOA5 alpha demo with all four characters is released on PSN/XBLM for everyone to download and Hayashi appologizes for putting it behind his turd that was NG3. P4U is released RIGHT NOW in a surprise Sega Saturn twist. Anything else (read: Capcom) I can't give a damn about because fuck Capcom and it's yearly "upgrades." |
