Be aware that this is currently an arcade update. According to Dengeki, XBLA/PSN are getting Accent Core Plus (-R). I'm doubtful of a simultaneous arcade/console release. I'm assuming/hoping that this does find its way to console though.

Arcsys usually releases console versions of games six months after the arcade release. So at the very least I'd expect it very late in the year/early next year.

I dunno about that, they did say Summer for the PSN and XBLA version of GG. And remember that GG is an older game, so maybe a simultaneous release isn't out of the question just yet.

The console screenshots that we saw earlier sure looked like the early screenshots from the first arcade announcement, so it's natural to assume this would be the case...

...of course, even if it isn't, patching in the future does wonderful things...

Yup, actually when I still owned a 60GB PS3, Guilty Gear XX AC looked amazing on it. It was very sharp, almost as good as Blazblue (though maybe my memory is clouded). It definitely looked nicer than the new KOF though (just the look, not how it animated).

I don't think ^C has the BB:CS1/2 patching ability. If it did, I'd be over the moon. But announcing this and ^C PSN/XBLA still not released is fucking stupid and I hope Arc is smart and delays ^C PSN/XBLA to add this balance change to the game (or just makes it a free "DLC" upgrade/purchase for ^C buyers)

I think it can be updated/patched on consoles, although if they would rather release it when R is released...I'd say that'd be better and cheaper what with how much devs need to pay for releasing update patches, etc. to their games.

Would love a full sequel with HD graphics on modern systems, but who knows if that will ever happen. I know they just got the rights back within like the last year or so, maybe TGS 2013 for next-gen systems or something.
