The crazy thing is that I wanted to print the order confirmation to show them that the case was a free reward (and thus has zero/little retail value), only to be shocked that it says $250.00 USD!

Be careful, don't complain to Nintendo or even nicely ask for the info on the packing slips to be changed. If they detect you're using a reshipping service (like they did with me) they will cancel your whole Club Nintendo account (like they did to my old account).

Nope. If you live outside the US/Canada and you want the benefits of Club Nintendo, your only choice is buying online eShop codes for cash.

That's silly. We've already established that 1 Coin is about 60 cents.

(The 1:1 figure does make sense when you do blanket comparisons of coins per retail item, though.)

yeah when I go to check my tracking number on the order status page, I'll always feel a tinge of sticker shock when I see the "$XXX.00" figure there. LOL

Just keep an eye out for deals on DS, 3DS, and Wii games. Maybe you'll get lucky and find a Nintendo-published Wii title for really cheap (like how I got S&P2 at Best Buy for $5).

I don't know about Mario Tennis, but Kid Icarus and Mario 3D Land are the two best original games on the system.
