So bummed I missed out on this. I needed a ride for the trackday tomorrow and I was on standby to get that done before work. Looks like a fun time! Gah!

Just going through the 1st lap of the replay, race was crazy. So many spins and close calls. Spent most of my time fighting with rutty, don't know how many times we switched position. On the last lap I decided to pit, I knew your tyres were going off and it worked as I managed to catch up and take that place back. Plenty of bumps and hits but nothing intentional, was a fun race. Lap 5, two corners before the Dottinger Hohe (when pask overtook me), I mess up, get two wheels on the grass and pask gets alongside me. Not completely sure how exciting it is from the outside, for me it was desperately trying to steer off the grass while avoiding spinning out :P

Hehehe, don't worry about it. It was worth it for the psychological experience. After I'd spun I totally forgot which corner I was on, I couldn't recognise anything in the pitch black. Once I was back on the track I was just accelerating into the darkness thinking, "Shit! do I go left or right?!" :)

Sunhi, if you want to make a comedy gif, please do one from my helmet cam from 18:50 to 19:00 total race time. GHR reverses onto the track in front of me and scares the life out of me :D

That was similar to another incident where I spun off and I couldn't get out of the way fast enough, you ended up with a lot of damage, sorry. The 'Ring is a dangerous place to race.

Haha cheers ! Didnt want to bring it up as i already had a "excuse" for every single other races i took part in here i think.

@asclepio: I think there should be at least the intention (not saying that the crashes were intentional) especially in such a long race on ther 24h layout of the nordschleife. There is really no need to rush it in the first few corners...

I hold my hands up and admit I made some mistakes on the first lap. I'm not home at the moment so can't check my saved replay but I assure you no contact was intentional. All the same I apologise if I've upset you.

That being said, I spent the majority of the 1st three laps in last place. I decided to pit in and get fresh tyres at the end of lap 2 hoping I could gain time over all. So whilst I made mistakes that resulted in some collisions, you can't blame me for finishing above you.

Again, I apologise if I upset anyone. It was never my intention and last thing I wanted first time out in a NRL race was to be subjected to a personal lynching post-race.

As I said above, don't worry about it too much. But if you think this was a lynching you should have seen the Super GT thread close to release when we started the league. Tempers were really hot back then... Postrace almost always turned into a shouting match.
