I agree, part of the reason why Brick is so great is that we only got him in small doses. This is the same whenever the sidekick becomes the most loved character in a movie. The change in focus or the spin off rarely has the same charm because it just overexposes the guy.

This man rarely makes sense but on this occasion he is correct. Brick works as the non-sequitur, the cutaway stupid gag, not as the focus of the piece. Ron has heart, even if it is filled with love only for himself.

Anchorman is full of quoteable lines. Its just endearing nonsense you can't help but giggle at.
The human torch was denied a bank loan. Milk was a bad choice. Baxter, you ate the whole wheel of cheese? How'd you do that? Heck, I'm not even mad; that's incredible. |

I realised the thing I love about Anchorman is it seems they're all just dicking around with their mates. |

Baxter: Leave these people alone. They mean you no harm. Bear: We Bears are a proud race. They must pay for their intrusion. Baxter: On my journey I met one of your kind. His name was Katow-jo. We became friends. Bear: Katow-jo is my cousin. Go in peace. Baxter: I will tell tales of your compassion. Bear: Fare thee well, Baxter. You shall always be friend of the bears. |

I don't think they could (or should) ever make a sequel to that - it is an absolutely perfect stand-alone film. HOWEVER, I did read that Will Farrell, Adam McKay and John C. Reilly are working on a Prestige Worldwide album together.
