While that is true Zen Pinball (same studio) has one of the best 3D on the system. They even implemented AA in 3D - looks good. I expect the same for the end product here.

If the glitches bother you, they bother you; that's fine. I certainly have aspects of game design that annoy me so would certainly not criticise you or anyone else for having them too, whether the same or different. I am glad that you are enjoying the game despite this aspect however. I hope you take to the non default camera when you try it again as I have certainly found that far preferable. Shinen are a very small team. Have a look at the credits and you will see what I mean. That doesn't excuse sloppy work however as you rightly say.

Well, I think it's fairly simple extras from determining you're playing on a GBA. If Nintendo's friendly enough/Wayforward wants to put that effort in I think they could probably change the game so it's just available anyway. Unless this actually depended on GBA hardware, which I doubt beyond a check for what system it's on. If they CAN put that in then I hope the same applies for the Oracle games whenever they appear.

I don't think any other GBC games with special GBA content have hit VC yet so there's no basis for comparison other than the complete lack of any sort of palette support for DMG/SGB games. |

Does the new Dinosaur Office seem to be in 2-D for anyone else? Not seeing any depth in the picture and moving the slider shows no changes, which usually means 2-D video. Intro and outro is 3-D, but the actual show appears to not be 3-D, to me.

Definitely. It's back from the screen in 3D, but there is no 3D to the actual objects. That's depressing.

I have a feeling NoA will beat NoE for the third week in a row.

I really wish they'd stop adding the damn 2D trailers to the eShop. I'm refering to the ones that have the warning that this is 2D video of a 3D game before they start playing. When the system first launched I could understand but it's been a year now. Those trailers need to stop appearing. Have on them youtube but they should not be on the eShop.

Nintendo Points are cheap once again, and as I don't have a DSi, I'd still like to buy the points in advance. What are the must-haves?
I'm thinking of Art Style x7 Reflect Missile X-Scape Aura-Aura Climber Starship Patrol Go! Go! Kokopolo Pinball Pulse Looksley's Line Up I'm not really interested in side-scrolling shooters/platformers, rather puzzle-style titles. |

Apparently so. And I'm stuck again. ._.
I can't beat level 4.2 in World C no matter what I do. They've clearly changed something between Art of Balance TOUCH! and the WiiWare version, because a guide that I'm using for the WiiWare version isn't working for TOUCH! This is the guide I'm using (I only use it if I'm completely stuck on a puzzle), and the solution for level 4.2 in World C just doesn't work at all in the 3DS version. I followed this video, but it just doesn't work. I've tried every other possible combination that I can think of, and nothing works. =/ Has anyone else here managed to complete this level in Art of Balance TOUCH!? |

The key with this one seems to be getting the maximum height possible out of the pieces whilst still maintaining balance. Well duh! I find that if I place pieces just off centre to counter balance the weight in the structure below going the opposite way helpful. Despite the shape of the base there is enough width there that one of the two starting pieces that isn't the triangle can be placed on end i.e portrait rather than landscape and still be a secure base. If you are careful with the balancing you should be able to continue that theme and manage it. I just re-did this puzzle for the sake of this answer and actually got to the goal line without using the last piece. The puzzle would not give me the satisfaction of completion until that last piece had been placed and the whole structure had stayed out of the water for the count of three, of course, but that was not a problem by then. It did however bork the puzzle by me hitting the 'top' of the screen with the last piece because the camera had not zoomed out to give me room, of course :x If you wish me to state the order of pieces I used I am happy to but hopefully you shouldn't need it with the above :). |

Anyway, I would recommend Mario vs DK, Mighty Flip Champs and Rabi Laby. Aura Aura Climber is not a puzzle game. |

Anyone in the UK remember Mutant Mudds? That game that came out 5 months ago in America? Well it's finally coming here next week.

It would be really ace. I've skipped a lot of DSiWare stuff purely on the inconvenience of leaving the 3DS on DS mode (no Street/SpotPass, no home menu, no friend list...). And I think I'm not the only one.

Boxlife and PiCOPiCT are the best ArtStyle games. I'd buy it. Haven't gotten around to number 1 yet, but the sprite work's really cool!

Due to the amount of content and file size for the original, we had to offer it for 800 points, according to Nintendo policy, but cheaper titles always sell better! :) |
