I have been looking for a way to get some consistent practice and matches in Kid Icarus.
It seems that organizing teams of 3 v 3 is not easy. So we have to do a bit of work ourselves. If anyone knows of any tools that other communities are using for Kid Icarus, I'd love to hear about it. Otherwise, I have a google calendar that I've set up just for posting Kid Icarus availability throughout the week. It's public and if I share it with you, you'll be able to post on it freely. Just PM me with your gmail and I can add you to the calendar. Otherwise, you can simply email me or contact me some other way for me to update it for you. I'm fine either way. I think a calendar set up would be ideal here. This way we wouldn't have to look through posts to see who's playing. Also calendar organizes all of the time zone stuff. Notice how I've already set up a time window for when my team will be ready to play. I have a lot of experience organizing tournaments and other gaming events. So if you'll work with me a bit, I can make this smoother for anyone who wants to play. Thanks |

I think the main reason it's so hard to find matches is because this OT is basically dead.
There needs to be an official 3DS thread on the gaming discussion side, that way you have all of the 3ds users checking it out and it would be easier to find people to play. But I do agree with you Hadji, the calender is a great start, and if you could pass it around through all of the communities (IcarusGAF, NWR, etc.) then it would be really helpful. I just added you from that calender as well. I haven't played this game in a while, but i'm looking to start playing it again. My FC is 5155-3032-4812 if you want to add me back.

It was built in too late in the development cycle so its really only for left handed players. |

I take pictures of each setup i've used before and they're all pretty different but have served different purposes. So if you would like me to post more if the above doesn't work for you, i will.

And practice, practice a lot, it's likely that you won't get the controls right away. It's like learning to use Dual Analogs for the first time. |

By the way, I just finished the very last chapter. Wow, what a ride! And it seems I still have plenty of stuff (I mean *plenty*, seriously) to do, I'm impressed. |

I can't play 90% of all shooters when I use a monitor or TV. I get really nauseous or sick a lot of the time so I just tend too avoid them. I get the majority of FPS gaming from handhelds (so basically none). I could strangely play a lot of pointer based FPS without getting sick also (Metroid Prime Trilogy, The Conduit 1/2, Red Steel 1/2). My FPS experience began with Metroid Prime Hunters, and then expanded to Metroid Prime Trilogy (once I learnt I didn't get sick from it), and eventually some more Wii shooters. It might be because I focus more on the actual reticle when playing that I don't get sick. Hopefully Wii U games use pointer controls too or I'll never get to play good shooters. Wow. I went off on a random tangent there. Anyway I'll try out the game some more and hopefully I'll find something that works. Thanks for the help. |

In the next Kid Icarus game that comes out in another twenty-five years, I want them to do something with Palutena's "Power of Caging!" from the anime short.
Maybe she can use it to capture some GOOD slaves. ...like me. :x |

My friend Code is 4811 7281 1858 Gradivus.
I've had the game since launch but only tried the online multi player stuff just the other day, I was a fool for not trying it out sooner. I really need to upgrade my weapon better if I'm going to try and win any of the matches out there, my Value 281 Angel Bow seems to do jack all against a fair amount of the people on there. |

BTW who's that character from your avatar (she looks familiar) and were you the one who drew said character in different poses? |

Lower than that, and you'll get less health per use. Edit : I'm hosting a match right now. 3 player match, if anyonelese wants to join, post here, I'll rehost to get more players in.

Chapter 8, the game finally clicked with me.
At first I found it just OK, with some impressive graphics and flying sequences. I found the maniability quite tough, and my visor was going crazy in all the corners of the screen. And then I looked in the options. Screw being able to slide the screen like a globe. Increase the speed and make the movement stop quicker. Now the game is plain awesome, I can make Pit do whatever I want ! |
