Call Nintendo and tell them you just linked your account and they SHOULD be able to transfer your old purchases over to your Club Nintendo account -- which SHOULD give you surveys for them. Other folks have had it work in the past, so you have a -chance-...

I emailed them about some 3DS games I downloaded before linking my account. They gave me the surveys no problem. I'd definitely try that.

Yeah, when your total available coins hits 600 it seems to do this. I recently had it congratulate me for reaching platinum status after I had spent my coins below 600 and then earned some to get it back above. At the time I had long since reached platinum for the year.

Nope, if it was made prior to May 2010, then there is no way to get coins for the console.

You can link it so that you'll get any coins for Wiiware you download in the future, though. Just go through the linking procedure on the Wii Shop.

It was only Nintendo Video and Netflix which gave a month, and those don't have post-play surveys like the Pokedex and games do. If those weren't always a month this could be a sign that they are changing the time frame to complete registration surveys. I could see why they wouldn't change that immediately for everything else during the last month of the year if people are counting on getting their post-play surveys in 7 days.

Has anyone gone to register a new system this month, and without immediately completing the registration survey, checked to see how long it gives you?

You have 50 coins in one go? Sounds like you let the post play survey expire (you have 120 days to complete them). If you have one listing for 30 and another for 20 a little later, then you missed out on both the ItB and early registration bonuses.

The Game & Watch Ball box art is beautiful and makes for a great display piece. The hardware is really cool too as it looks completely of the era.

I just wish it didn't have a frickin ESRB rating on the box.

Coins only expire after two June 30ths. So if you earned them all last week, they'll expire June 30th, 2014.

Click "Account & Coins" next to your coin total and then "Coins & Status" on that page and it'll tell you.

They do send you an e-mail too; and if you have coins expiring, your counter at the top right changes around April sometime to show you that fact.

Nope. Early Registration, as you describe, has always been a thing ever since the start of the program and is additional to the ItB coins. The NPC and Nintendo Selects titles never get Intend to Buy surveys, which is why you didn't see one, but all other Nintendo-published titles still do.
