Dissapointment confirmed? 100 minutes out of a 165 minute movie, directed by the worst action director of all time. Clearly we are fucked.

Pretty much. Volume one is the meat and potatoes of the story, two drags, three picks back up and concludes the story fairly well.

For anyone just wanting some comic reading related to DKR (it's probably been mentioned a bunch), do at least Knightfall Vol. 1, No Man's Land, and The Dark Knight Returns.

No Man's Land is really a ton of books though. Someone did a regular novel version of it which I hear is a pretty nice read.
