Went to Canada about 17 years ago, was about 6 at that time, spent 6 weeks there, was totally amazing, from CN Tower to Niagra Falls, it's quite a diverse landscape and people are just super friendly there, some of the best few weeks of my childhood was spent there.
Man I really need to go back and visit it again, Hopefully my relatives don't mind me crashing in again lol anyway Happy Birthday Canada! |

The best lyricist this country has ever known. And not even CBC will play his songs on the radio.

Officially Canada here, so Happy Canada everyone.
Kind of curious to see what's going on in my city today; I know we have the big firework show, but I don't really feel like dealing with a massive mob of drunk people downtown. Shit's weak when you're the only sober one. |

I'm sure I've heard Matthew Good on DNTO. I'm surprised modern rock stations wouldn't play that stuff.
Wish they sold out it out east; can only get it on Porter if I'm not in Toronto. |

Being the only Canadian within my group at my hospital I hosted a mini UN style BBQ yesterday. Lots of Canadian beer, wine and beef was consumed.
One guy Iran One guy from Japan One guy from Serbia One lady from France A husband and wife from Argentina plus their 14 month old Canadian boy A husband and wife from Japan I think it says something about our country that people from all over the world want to come here to work, study, set down roots, and raise families. Where else but Canada could you have a wonderful BBQ with atheists, christians, muslims, and buddhists? It made for some great conversation. |

Canada Day was amazing.
I ended up watching all of the events (the trampoline troupe gets me every time) and spent money on useless shit like the Canada day hat & flag. There was also plenty hotties (though I didn't any action... only a drunk girl spilling her beer all over my shirt) And even disregarding all of the that, the fireworks were awesome; well worth the trip. |
