I live in DC but don't need the a/c on in the evenings--and I'm a very warm-blooded person, too. It's because my apartment is in the very back of my building, and there's another building almost directly in front of my apartment's lone window. Not getting direct sunlight in kind of sucks sometimes, but you're thankful for it in the summer. Minimal solar radiation stored up in this part of the building means that the heat doesn't stifle you at night.

It got to like 95 today in western Pennsylvania and that's bad enough. I couldn't live in the south. Mid 70's is truly the best weather. |

34°C here. I'm living in dorms this summer, and my room faces west, so the sun is shining in the whole afternoon. Of course I've got the curtains closed, but it doesn't help much. It's unbearable.
Additionally, I'm using public transport for about 2 hours each day, and the heat within the trains and trams is also terrible. |

Took long enough...lol
I don't envy you guys in the US at all at the moment. Anything above 25C (77F) is enough to make me start moaning and wishing it were winter. I don't mind arid heat, but humidity is awful and I swear it's always humid here in the UK. |

Im from Memphis TN and now I live in Denver and I must say that the lower moisture is a blessing when dealing with the heat. Denver doesn't really have alot of moisture like Memphis so when its 100 in Denver Im ok. Just 90 in Memphis is hot as fuck because there's so much moisture in the atmosphere there.

meh, its no big deal.
Then again Im like 6foot and 135lbs so there its not really a problem when your body consist of bones covered in skin. I spent all day yesterday in my kayak and today I'm painting the shed. Its only 93 here in NJ so I guess it would be worse 100+ |

Yea, its 110 hear with the heat index. Its kinda annoying since I usually go out and walk around for forty minutes minutes straight. Now I have cut that up to two twenty minute sessions and even then its starting to be too much on me :(
And its not enough room to really walk inside so arg. I'm not even bothering walking today. Maybe at seven PM or something but I do so much better walking within the first 2-4 hours of waking up. |
