Wish there was a Marik shuffling gif.
I think they actually had those for locals in card shops when Yu-Gi-Oh! first came out. I think there were certain tiers and they had a glove that you could fit the chips into. |

has anyone seen the new tins?
they contain a really good rank 3 monster: zenmaines (a 50-80 bucks card). Also, if you don't run dinosaurs, then it'll be excalibur tin for you. Also on the new set, 2 anime cards make an appearance: miracle contact and advanced dark. |

You guys don't know how to do that shuffle? Only true pros can do it.
Not really just watch this: http://www.ehow.com/video_2374011_do-hindu-shuffle.html |

I...need this.
![]() Apparently it was a part of a Shonen Jump Promo. I think it's too late to get one, I suppose I'll try ebay. But yeah, officially the best "legal" god card.

So the TCG showed off the Spellbook archetype on the Return of the Duelist booster pack product page and it's getting a major name rework. The monsters are now "Prophecy" and their names are now the English names for Tarot cards rather than the French ones. The Spellbooks themselves now have generic names related to what they do, rather than being based on fictional spellbooks, and religious texts.
So: Junon the Magical Priestess became High Priestess of Prophecy And Grimo Spellbook became Spellbook of Secrets. The names are no big deal, but being the major promoted archetpye almost certainly means the most of the cards are going to have high rarities when the pack comes out. :/ |

IMO, Malefic Skill Drain Decks are Tier 1. What I've learned is that you must not play aggressive at start. My deck isn't as "Strong" yet. But investing for it to be Tier 1 profile.
The best way to counter a MSD is running more counters against traps and use effect monsters that play by hand or when removed from the field. What do you guys consider Tier 1 profile? I'll take your opinions to experiment with new strategies. |

With my MSD isn't even close to being completely finished yet goes toe to toe against Tier 1 decks. Haven't seen MSD profile decks even placed in any tier ladder, yet. Elemental Heros are Tier 1. |

The Seal of Orichalcos is finally being printed and seems to be a legit playable card.

Check your windows for fling pigs, because The Seal of Orichalcos is actually getting relea-
![]() Really though, It looks like it's heavily nerfed from the anime incarnation and I doubt that soul stealing clause made it through. |

Are they still printing cards? I really like Yugioh, mainly because it's a very deep card game which requires a lot of strategy before and during the battle. Every year at Queen's Day, when people can massively sell their old stuff on the streets, I try to get a few cards. However, they are getting more scarce as the real hype has long been over.

Wow, I'd mainly been thinking of the card's potential in Stun Decks (2400, protected TKRO sends shivers down my spine), but Malefic decks are really going to benefit too. |

*edit* Fixed some of the broken image links and title. Didn't know imgur breaks links after a certain period of time.

Only just saw this thread. Cheers Koko!
Most of my friends have jumped the ditch for the weekend to attend the Oceania Championships (basically like NAWCQ, except it combines Australia and New Zealand) so that's what my focus will be on for this weekend. One of my good friends actually won the New Zealand Nationals back in June with Wind-ups so I'm pulling for another strong showing by him. More on-topic, I hope BLS - EotB gets a reprint in Legendary Collection 3 as I traded my one away a few weeks back fearing it might get put back on the forbidden list. |

Too bad the cards are not sold in shops any more any place near where I live. Seeing new cards and thinking up combos is one of the things I enjoy most. It's encouraging, however.

Yup Yup, this thread has so much to offer. Heck I hope more people here posts Deck profiles and strategies in the near future.
I am interested in how big this Yugioh community to help better everyone's skills with suggestive tips to "refine" their decks or finding the best affordable cards online, etc. |

I got back into the game after being out of the series when the first anime series ended, and I played Decade Duels in November 2010. Game is unforgiving and brutal, but for some reason I really got a kick out of the Synchro monsters and all the newer additions to the game. I haven't really played competitively yet, and have been just purchasing the latest games and playing against the CPU. Although, I haven't been playing the game at all in the past few months (a few months after last March's ban list), but I got rather busy and lost interest for a bit. I watched Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's (although I still need to watch a lot of episodes) up to episode 120-130, and it's an excellent anime. I suppose when I'm more motivated I'll start playing a bit more, but I don't really like Dueling Network as you have to input things manually unlike YGOPro which is rather recent. |

I just wish they would put in TCG cards already. It'd be nice to be able to use Tour Guide and others to practice against the meta on the go.

They're getting their Japanese release in Extra Pack 2012 in October, so any future games should cover most of the TCG exclusives out now. Although the TCG exclusives in Return of the Duelist (which will probably be Prophecy and Madolche cards) won't make the transition for a long time.

You know I'm thinking, they could actually make an anime based on Yugi Moto himself if they wanted too. At the end of Duel Monsters, he pretty much says "This isn't the story about an ancient egyptain pharaoh that saved the world, this is about me" or something along the lines.

We might be getting a Tag Force game, we'll see. There's still time for news to come up. Maybe they're trying to rework the game to launch a new series for the 3DS or something.
However I'd love to just see some epic Pokemon Stadium shit on one of the HD consoles but I doubt that'd happen. It'd be cool to see stuff like Utopia, Stardust Dragon, Greenkappa, and Shapesnatch come to life. They already do that for the Duel Terminals. |

Speaking of online, has anyone here ever played YGO Online or the three PC games that came in the US? |
